Chapter 211: Advancement Materials Chapter 211: Advancement Materials
Qaran swallowed hard and quickly finalised the report for Leo to review.
His movements were efficient, precise, and noticeably restrained, as if he were carefully choosing every action to avoid offending Leo. Gone was the earlier grumpiness; now, his fingers flew across the interface with professional focus.
When he finally turned the screen toward Leo, the report displayed much of what the system had already shown for his tamed beast—though several deeper sections of information were clearly missing.

Leo frowned slightly as he read through the list.
Qaran immediately understood the reason and hurried to explain.
"Please rest assured," he said quickly, lowering his voice. "These reports are highly confidential. They can only be accessed by certified analysts and the Principal himself. All analysts sign a death mana contract—if we even attempt to reveal such information, we die before the words can leave our mouths."
He paused, then continued carefully.
"As for the Principal, he has signed the same contract. The only reason he’s allowed access is because, at times, it’s necessary for prize allocation in academy-orchestrated events. For example, if a required material is too rare to be available in Aurelius Hall, the Principal can issue a targeted task so that the student may obtain it as a reward."
Hearing this, the tension in Leo’s expression eased. Now he finally understood why Professor Brant and Instructor Lu had asked about his information that day.
Wait... if that’s the case, Leo thought, they might assign soul-enhancing treasures as rewards. I already have those...
Qaran, meanwhile, glanced back at the material list and couldn’t help raising his brows in amazement.
"Damn, brother," he muttered. "You really got a run for your money here. These will total around 150,000 AC. Nearly 70,000 AC of that comes from just the shadow and space crystals alone."
"Those two are that expensive?" Leo asked.
Qaran nodded.
"Space crystals are extremely scarce. Most mined samples are sent directly to the Imperial Palace for the Emperor and his close space-element users. What’s left for circulation is... tiny. As for shadow crystals, they’re naturally rare to begin with, which drives the cost up."
Leo nodded slowly in understanding.
"Alright," he said calmly. "We still have four beasts left to analyze. You’ll be fine, yes?"
Those simple words sent a metaphorical tsunami crashing through Qaran’s life.
Still, he forced himself to nod. After all, he was getting paid for this.
Next came Niri.
Two pseudo 3-star beasts... he thought in disbelief.
And not just that—the second was a half-spirit dryad, one of the most prized nature-aligned healing beasts. At minimum, dryads possessed a super bloodline.
He can literarily make fortune while sitting back with this beast....
He swiftly generated the report.
