For what they want, they will act impulsively and recklessly, spreading evil and chaos. Fortunately, their plans are often chaotic, and their groups are usually poorly organized.
Generally, chaotic evil beings only cooperate with allies when forced, and their leaders often face strife and assassination. The horror of chaotic evil lies in not only destroying beauty and life but also the Order that beauty and life depend on to exist.
In the Abyss, those creatures submit to Elwin and Flora not just because of force suppression but more due to cultural differences. They follow the majority flow, existing as mere stains with no extra thought or awareness.
But the unknown world is different.
Once they appear in an unfamiliar environment, like a flood breaking a dam, some will flow along the riverbank, but most will disperse in all directions, destroying buildings and farmlands around them. The farmers hoping for water to nourish the land will not see next year’s harvest but become sacrifices in the flood.
This is Chen Feng’s dilemma.
In dealing with chaotic evildoers, Chen Feng prefers lawful evil subordinates!
Lawful evil beings, in theory, adhere to their own standards, obtaining what they want at all costs, regardless of whether others are harmed.
This can be described as selfishness.
They value tradition, loyalty, and discipline but do not care about freedom or the value of life. They act according to rules but without compassion or enthusiasm. They favor hierarchical systems because they can rule subordinates and obey superiors. They do not blame individual actions but may blame race, faith, homeland, or social status.
This is much like Chen Feng. In defending human rights and his own interests, he doesn’t care about the death of Beastmen. For power, he would even perform a Blood Sacrifice on an entire tribe, causing tens of thousands of lives to perish in such circumstances, something cruel but limited to enemies!
More importantly, lawful evil beings do not willingly break laws or commitments, partly due to their nature and partly because they rely on the protection of discipline to avoid opposition from those with differing moral stances.
Some lawful evil beings have certain taboos: like not killing (but ordering subordinates to do so) or not harming children, believing this makes them "better" than the lawless evil.
Some lawful evil species regard evil as a belief. Beyond harming others to achieve their purposes, they also take pleasure in spreading evil. They may serve an evil god or master, seeing malevolent acts as part of their duty. The horror of lawful evil lies in its systematic and planned malevolence, often leading to success.
In a sense, Order is a distorted kind of good!
Under Chen Feng’s guidance, the warriors and professionals of Order only safeguard the existing laws of the city and the rights of those like themselves, whereas others, like insects and Beastmen, are listed for elimination.
The warriors carry out planned atrocities based on the rights granted by Chen Feng, without any concept of a [Magical Creatures Protection Association], [Life Equality], or mercy for Dimensional Creatures. Essentially, the doctrine of Order has only one principle: [Human Supremacy]
