Necromancy Society, Skeleton Cave, Dark Bible;
These are all well-known research organizations, gathering people who are mostly madmen like Mr. Fang. The Necromancy Society, as the name implies, is a group of corpse-researching maniacs, and their favorite pastime is to assemble monsters by combining different types of corpses and then wielding their abilities to revive them.
It’s safe to say, many monsters created by this society are highly creative, pointing towards a dark organization.
Among them, the Dark Bible stands out as an extremist among dark organizations, worshiping the devil and claiming to be disciples of the devil. Members of this organization enjoy gaining power from unknown dimensions through blood sacrifices.
Human nature’s good and evil are ruthlessly ravaged before the devil, collapsing, then frantically shrinking, and magnified under the spread of blood.
It’s no exaggeration to say, if a city like the Economic Development Zone suddenly gained two or three such organizations, it wouldn’t take long before it completely collapsed.
Human nature is inherently evil.
Chen Feng is not arrogant enough to entirely control people’s thoughts. The Church of Misfortune is an exception; after all, as long as one is normal, few would choose to ruin their appearance and live like an ascetic monk. In contrast, those organizations are different; they’re like Pandora’s Box, those madmen excel at awakening people’s darkest negative emotions.
And this, too, is why Chen Feng is so worried. He does not wish to see this group of madmen appear in his city; one Mr. Fang is enough, but a group of Mr. Fangs would likely make even Chen Feng feel overwhelmed.
However, as long as such things are monitored and controlled, it will be fine. After all, Mr. Fang is still under his control, and the Undead Mage is his Summoned Beast and cannot betray him.
Currently, the most important thing is how to get through this crisis.
At this moment, the team belonging to Order felt like a meat grinder. The insects before them didn’t even have the chance to resist; they were killed one by one, and some Bronze Tier insects didn’t even have the chance to strike, merely shot dead, falling to the ground.
This undoubtedly boosted the warriors’ morale.
"Rumble!"
An indistinct roaring sound came from ahead, growing louder and heavier, accompanied by intense shaking!
An earthquake?
No!
If it were an earthquake, it would cause severe shaking around us. But this time, only a roar is coming from ahead. Clearly, some powerful insects are hidden within.
Having dealt with the enemies in front of them, the warriors looked forward with worry, knowing that an insect capable of causing such a commotion couldn’t be an easy adversary.
Before long, from the crevice of the earth, emerged an enormous lantern-like iron-shelled head, hideous and terrifying, covered with sharp venomous hairs and green bumps, possessing frighteningly massive pincers and teeth!
Looking closely...
It was indeed a centipede head!
It drilled out of the earth’s crevice and suddenly in a swift, imperceptible motion, diving toward the nearest Corpse Demon!
This Corpse Demon, with only simple instincts, automatically identified the centipede as an enemy upon seeing it, raising its weapon, and hacking toward the centipede’s head.
However, the huge centipede didn’t give it any chance to attack; it darted quickly, pouncing on the Corpse Demon, and its nearly half-meter long steel pincers shaved off half of the Corpse Demon’s head, then the entire centipede body coiled around the Corpse Demon’s corpse, frantically wriggling its dense insect legs, like small knives, slicing the Corpse Demon’s flesh!
"Ah!"
The surrounding warriors gasped, clearly realizing that this insect was of a completely different caliber than the ones they had killed before.
One caliber?
Certainly not.
This is a lifeform surpassing the Blood Nether Centipede, a plundering centipede stepping into the Silver Tier!
