c1102: Hmph, Scumbag! (2)

“Cough, you little girl, what do you know about adult matters?” Wang Teng felt uncomfortable under her gaze.

“I’m not a little girl anymore,” Lin Chuxia straightened her back and complained unhappily.

Lin Chuhan had regained her composure by now. She walked forward and patted her sister’s head. “Why aren’t you cultivating? Why did you come and look for me?”

“I’m not looking for you. I’m looking for Brother Wang Teng,” Lin Chuxia replied instantly.

“… Ungrateful fellow,” Lin Chuhan said.

“Hahaha.” Wang Teng burst out laughing. “Why are you looking for me?”

“I haven’t seen you in a while. I want you to play with me,” Lin Chuxia said happily.

Lin Chuhan glared at her. “Wang Teng doesn’t have the time to play with you.”

“Nothing will happen if he plays with me for a while,” Lin Chuxia refuted.

“Alright, I haven’t accompanied her for a long time. I’ll make an exception for you today.” Wang Teng stopped their argument quickly.

“You’re pampering her. You’re going to spoil her like this,” Lin Chuhan said angrily.

“It’s alright to pamper a lady. That way, she won’t be fooled easily in the future,” Wang Teng replied.

“That’s right,” Lin Chuxia agreed.

“This is bullshit. What are you even saying?” Lin Chuhan got furious.

“Brother Wang Teng, where are we going?” Lin Chuxia stuck out her tongue at her sister and turned to ask Wang Teng.

“Let me bring y’all to the virtual universe today.” Wang Teng contemplated for some time before he thought of this idea.

“The virtual universe?!” The two of them were stunned.

“What’s that?” Lin Chuhan asked.

“It’s like a virtual world,” Wang Teng explained simply.

The two ladies were surprised, finding it unbelievable. They didn’t think that such amazing technology existed in the universe.

Wang Teng brought them into the universe-level spacecraft. He was a baron of the Great Qian Empire. It was easy for him to settle the citizenship for a few people.

Round Ball did some work and Lin Chuxia and Lin Chuhan possessed citizenship of the Great Qian Empire.

The virtual universe.

Inside the Great Qian Empire’s territory.

The three of them logged in using their Great Qian Empire’s citizenship, so naturally, they appeared within the boundaries of the Great Qian Empire.

There was a huge plaza filled with people packed like sardines in a can. There was no end to it.

Different races from the universe strolled through the plaza. It was an extraordinary scene. Two eyes weren’t enough to capture all the scenery.

The two ladies were stunned when they saw this grand view.

“Wow!” Lin Chuxia exclaimed. “This place is huge and lively!”

“The virtual universe is the same as the real world.” Lin Chuhan pinched her arm and scanned her surroundings again, carefully observing everything here. She was flabbergasted.

“Everything in the virtual universe is the same as the real world. There’s no difference,” Wang Teng replied with a smile.

“This is amazing.” Lin Chuhan took a deep breath to calm herself down.

“There’re many races here. They all look powerful.” Lin Chuxia didn’t know where to look. She was awestruck.

“The universe is boundless and the number of races is countless. Some races are born at the planetary stage, some at the celestial stage, or even the cosmos stage. They’re very powerful,” Wang Teng replied.

“They’re born at the celestial stage or the cosmos stage!” The two ladies were dumbstruck. “Does that mean they don’t have to cultivate?”

“You’re wrong. In the universe, there are numerous martial warriors at the cosmos stage and below. They’re nothing in front of powerful factions though. Only heaven-stage martial warriors have some power and status. Although these powerful races have a further starting point, the path ahead is still long,” Wang Teng explained.

“But, in the Olant Federation, a cosmos-stage martial warrior is the guardian of a galaxy, right? Aren’t they considered powerful?” Lin Chuhan asked.

“The Olant Federation is just a low-tier civilization, a small faction in the universe. Let’s take the Great Qian Empire as an example. It has a few hundred thousand low-tier civilizations under it,” Wang Teng lamented.

He wasn’t looking down on the Olant Federation. He was just telling the truth. After entering the Great Qian Empire, he realized that low-tier civilizations like the Olant Federation were pitifully small.

“A few hundred thousand!” The two ladies widened their eyes in surprise with their mouths agape. They looked quite cute.

“Hahaha.” Wang Teng laughed involuntarily. “Of course, to Earth, the Olant Federation is already a powerful presence.”

“I almost got scared to death.” Lin Chuhan rolled her eyes at Wang Teng, finally regaining her composure.

“Let’s go. I’ll bring you around so that you can get familiar with this place. It will make it easier for you to integrate into the universe,” Wang Teng said.

The two ladies went towards the streets outside the plaza under Wang Teng’s lead.

Shopping!

Shopping in the virtual universe was a whole new experience.

Wang Teng explained the situation in the universe while accompanying them to tour the various malls.

“This is the Rune Treasure Pavilion. There’re many unique and special weapons, dans, spiritual herbs, etc. You can buy anything here.

“This is Universe Bank, the greatest bank and one of the giants in the universe. It has branches in all the powerful factions in the universe.

“This is the Secondary Career Alliance. Do you know what the Secondary Career Alliance is? It’s an alliance formed by runemasters, blacksmiths, alchemists, and other professionals. It’s also one of the giants in the universe. I’m a part of them.”
