They really are all here.
From a high vantage point, Fu Qian looked down at the things in the pool as Ice indicated, without questioning her statement.
Anyone can count, and at a glance, three heads were already visible.
A further look would easily reveal six hands.
In fact, whether heads or hands, they looked much more normal compared to Sophia.
The only issue was that these things were grown on the same body.
Unlike Sophia’s side, this pool had no water.
Instead, there was a large mass of intertwined bodies with no clear boundaries between them.
Though devoid of any life aura, a closer look might even reveal the sequence in which these three bodies merged.
And the gestures of their struggle.
Only, this clearly belonged to meaningless behavior; the more they struggled, the more their blood, flesh, and bones melted together like wax.
The sour, rotten smell from before was seeping out from beneath this deformed mass of flesh.
Unlike Sophia, this seemed to have been used as a waste tank.
After these earlier three had exhausted their value, Ice had thrown them here one after another.
And after her demonstration of her achievements, she looked at this side with a special expression, seemingly very eager to see Fu Qian’s next reaction.
"Feel free to examine, no need to be polite—"
But her words were interrupted the next moment by Fu Qian’s actions. Taking a step forward, Fu Qian actually grabbed one of the arms and examined it carefully, even quickly reaching a conclusion.
"There are no weapons on them."
"I took them... that’s also why they died."
Without denying Fu Qian’s statement, Ice candidly admitted that the "Holy Garment" on the experiment subjects had been later removed by her.
"When you make such contact, aren’t you worried about being affected?"
"At that time, I hadn’t considered the risk that the Vacuum Flower might be hidden in the flesh."
Facing Fu Qian’s casual concern, she responded with cold indifference.
"So, how many did you remove?"
Unperturbed by her attitude, Fu Qian casually inquired while switching to examine another head.
...
"Why ask like that? Three people, naturally three—"
However, the moment Ice realized what he said, her enthusiasm for answering changed.
Unfortunately facing her query, Fu Qian merely responded with a calm gaze.
"Two."
Slightly gritting her teeth, Ice temporarily revised her answer.
That’s more like it.
Fu Qian withdrew his gaze.
In Ice’s ultimate plan, all three of them were without "weapons", how could a scene like this not be tested in advance.
So many materials at their disposal.
At least one of these three had undergone a test without equipment.
"After taking them, they quickly approached death?"
After finishing the examination, Fu Qian didn’t continue, but showed some contemplation at the deformed corpse.
"The deformed body structure was never meant to survive long."
Ice didn’t deny it, copying Fu Qian’s actions, her demeanor indifferent.
"Judging from the result, those without a weapon died the fastest, while the remaining two’s life states were obviously maintained to some extent, much like Sophia over there."
"Their physiques were even fairly well preserved."
Fu Qian didn’t doubt Ice’s statement, even trying to find the good aspects of the three people in the pool.
"That’s because they weren’t exposed to the Vacuum Flower for as long—so is this your finding?"
Regrettably, this observation outcome couldn’t satisfy Ice.
Dividing different time gradients for observation is reasonable, while Sophia bore the role of the extreme test.
Fu Qian did not care about Ice’s attitude, even affirming her thought process.
"Are there any others?"
"No, there’s just the four of them."
Seeing Fu Qian appear to genuinely give up, Ice no longer concealed her displeasure inside, responding stiffly.
