"A business trip?"
Lin Shen looked up at Qin Yuenan and asked curiously.
"Where to? For what?"
"Jinling. To research the market."
Qin Yuenan answered softly, taking small bites of rice.
"There’s a new flagship store that opened over there, and they want me to check on it. I’ll also be talking business with a few suppliers."
"And I can tag along?"
Lin Shen was a little puzzled.
"Isn’t it a bit weird for an outsider to come along?"
"Just think of it as a vacation. It’s not like I’m taking you to my meetings."
Qin Yuenan picked up the last half of the crab from the clay pot and placed it in Lin Shen’s bowl.
"You don’t have much going on usually, and you’re not working. With so much free time, why not get a change of scenery? It’ll be good to relax."
"Sounds perfect to me!"
Lin Shen agreed readily.
He considered the fact that he had already checked in at almost all the Red Points for GoGo Maps in Modu.
If he didn’t switch cities, he would have to wait for the few that refreshed each day.
This trip to Jinling was a perfect opportunity to use GoGo Maps to earn some seed money for the next phase of his startup plan.
Besides, Lin Shen had been wanting to travel for a while but wasn’t used to going alone.
Having Qin Yuenan with him would be perfect!

Lin Shen stole a few glances at Qin Yuenan, his mind stirring with possibilities.
"When are we going?"
"Next Monday, for five days."
"That long?"

"I thought Jinling was less than an hour from Modu by high-speed rail. Do you really need that much time?"
"The work part will only take about two or three days."
Qin Yuenan elegantly dabbed her mouth with a napkin and passed one to Lin Shen.
"But if we’re treating it as a vacation, we can extend it a few days. The company is reimbursing the hotel and food expenses anyway."

Qin Yuenan pursed her thin lips, her beautiful eyes blinking as she glanced away.
She hadn’t expected Lin Shen to agree so decisively. It made her suddenly nervous and anxious.
’It’s practically impossible for nothing to happen when a man and a woman travel alone together.’
This was why Qin Yuenan was so conflicted.
She and Lin Shen had already kissed, hugged, and he had even touched her all over.

"Nan, how about I put together a travel itinerary and send it to you?"
"Ah? Okay."
Snapping back to reality, Qin Yuenan stammered out her agreement. When her gaze fell upon Lin Shen’s handsome face, full of excitement and anticipation, the hesitation in her heart gradually gave way to resolve.
