Chapter 1036: Chapter 42: Home Invasion Successful! (Part 2) The previous battle had already made them submit, at least on the surface.

Duncan’s marching speed suddenly began to increase. Even the Enchanting Mage could barely keep up. After passing through a dead silent desert, a terrifying sandstorm started up at some unknown time, almost obscuring the sky and sun. Even the Enchanting Mage could only tightly hold onto Duncan’s coat to move forward, unable to fly at all.

"Stay close to me."

"Don’t get lost. Otherwise, I can only collect your corpses."

God’s perspective.

Open!

The terrifying sandstorm spread in all directions, as if some horrific giant creature was breathing, wailing, and moaning. As the yellow sand swirled into a storm, the clouds in the sky rolled endlessly, followed by thunderous noises.

This is the wail of the storm!

The death throes of the Obiris Demon Lord changed the climate here, even affecting some traits of the Bottomless Abyss.

This is the power of Domain Law!

—— Storm Lord-Bachad (Dying) (Ancient Obiris Demon Lord) (Six-star Silver Gray)!

A massive dark red mark appeared.

So Duncan, after passing through the storm, ended up standing directly on its body.

In his distant sight, a gnoll’s outpost fortress appeared, along with a unit marked as five-star silver gray.

"Prepare to fight!"

Without hesitation, Duncan slipped into the shadows, and the Enchanting Mage behind him nervously cast a spell. With a figure passing by, it wasn’t long before the howls of gnolls were heard ahead. By the time they caught up, dozens of bodies of Purgatory Jackal Wolfmen were left inside the fortress, and Duncan slowly pulled the Dragon Tooth Sword from a headless corpse.

"Stay here."

Duncan didn’t pause because Yenogu might get the news.

His figure directly entered the vast yellow sand, passed through a giant forest of ribs, like a stranded giant whale, and then along the weathered flesh layers, crossed a cliff, finally reaching the position of that dying consciousness.

Before other Demon Lords rose.

This was once the domain of the Storm Lord-Obiris Demon-Bachad.

Although the betrayal and treachery of the Tanari demon ultimately severed Bachad’s connection to this layer and drained the life force from his lifeless massive shell, the death agony of the Obiris Demon has persisted for endless ages.

Now this massive and peculiar demon is like a twisted stranded giant whale, unable to move by itself, only exposed to the scorching sun of this layer, repeatedly smashed by the violent hurricane and acid rain that support his half-dead body on the coast rock layer.

Bachad once mastered the laws of weather and storm, and his domain power was often inadvertently triggered by the slow death agony.

Although he can no longer speak, Bachad still retains fragments of his once vast consciousness. If contacted through telepathy, he will communicate in a slow and melancholic tone, telling of an era long before the birth of Tanari, of the rise and fall of the oldest demons.

And a trusted visitor may even hear Bachad say that demons did not originate from the Bottomless Abyss but migrated from somewhere else.

And the ’madness’ of the Obiris Demon.

It is an unspeakable terror that would drive mortals mad just by seeing it. Of the surviving Obiris Demon Lords, perhaps only the King of the Deep Sea, Dagon, and the Mother of Demons, Cang Ye, still retain their madness.

The indescribable of the Cthulhu Pantheon, the madness of the old days, and the most distant realms. (Note: The original DND demons, their origin is the Cthulhu system.)

The most frequent recent visitor is the Gnoll King-Yenogu.

Yenogu, although curious and surprised by these legends, cannot fully understand their importance. Yet Yenogu still comes to communicate with him every year.

"Who are you..." a low, painful voice emerged.

The consciousness of the Storm Lord-Bachad awakened.

Duncan approached a strange skull, weathered, covered in rock and sea salt. From this massive mountain-like body, one could still feel its twisted form that did not belong to a normal creature, like an abomination casually assembled by the Creator.

Duncan slowly took out the Holy Seal lance, and said in a deep voice, "The one who brings you death."

As if joyful, yet somewhat regretful, Bachad said in a low tone, "It’s useless..."

"Such a weapon cannot kill me, nor release me."

His divinity is not so easily extinguished.

Unless death itself wishes to end him.

Duncan calmly said, "Only trying will tell."

"Do you have any last words?"

Bachad’s spirit seemed slightly surprised, but more so in pain, as the death throes were nearly erasing his consciousness, leaving him only with some instinct, murmuring, "If you succeed."

"And obtain my power."

"Avenge me!"

Duncan paused for a moment and said, "I can."

The rock crumbled!

The Holy Seal lance in Duncan’s hand pierced downward, and with the collapsing cliff, a vast muscular texture appeared beneath the rock, already completely weathered yet still seeping black blood, like thick underground oil.

Bachad howled, joyful yet painful, as he sensed a whiff of death. He could attempt a counterattack after all, he still possessed part of the storm’s domain.
