Hanging up Li Chuhan’s call, Lin Yi packed his things and jogged out of the park, spotting Li Chuhan’s red G-Class on his left.
He opened the car door and got in.
Li Chuhan was wearing loose jeans, a white hoodie, and a black baseball cap, a sporty style of dress that surprisingly matched the car.
If a stranger saw her, they probably wouldn’t expect her to be a famous female doctor.
"Why did you come out at night? I could’ve stayed at a hotel."
"I was just at home reading papers, and couldn’t sleep. Since I was up anyway, I came to find you."
"I know your little thoughts," Lin Yi gently pinched Li Chuhan’s face. "It’s tough on you, staying by my side."
Li Chuhan turned her head, the dim streetlight illuminating her fair and round face.
