The four people nodded, their expressions firm and serious.
They knew Caie Mitsui wouldn’t obediently cooperate, so they all kept their guards up to the highest degree.
After giving instructions, Sakamoto Tai Lang left with the remaining people, and the ultrasound room quieted down.
“Young lady, we can start now. Lie down, please,” the doctor said softly.
Caie Mitsui nodded and slowly lay down on the medical bed, her expression complex.
She was well aware of the upcoming process. Her results would show no issues, and the doctor wouldn’t provide her with any treatment plans.
When the time came, citing physical discomfort to force her stay here would be inappropriate—nor would they give her such an opportunity.
Soon after, the doctor pulled the blue curtain closed. However, it wasn’t completely drawn, leaving her head visible. The people outside could still see Caie Mitsui.
Under the doctor’s instruction, Caie Mitsui lifted her shirt, exposing her smooth abdomen, and the examination began.

He casually picked up a piece of paper and placed it on Caie Mitsui’s thigh.

Suppressing her surge of emotions, Caie Mitsui shifted her body ever so slightly.
She was trying to signal Lin Yi that she had seen the words on the paper.
About a minute later, Lin Yi lowered his voice.
“It’s done.”
“Doctor, how’s my condition? Is there any issue?” Caie Mitsui asked, playing along.
“You have a gallstone. If possible, it would be best to perform surgery tomorrow.”
“Alright, I’ll come back tomorrow to get admitted.”
“Okay.” Lin Yi nodded and said,
“Wait here for a moment. The printer is out of paper. I’ll go get some to print the report for you to show the doctor later.”
“Alright.”
Lin Yi slowly stood up, moving like an elderly man, and walked out at a leisurely pace.
Meanwhile, Caie Mitsui also nonchalantly moved closer to the four guards.
Everything proceeded smoothly, without raising suspicion.
As Lin Yi walked away, the distance between him and the four guards got smaller.
At that moment, one of the Sunrise Landese spoke up.
“Why do I smell something strange?”
“I smell it too. Suddenly, I feel a bit sleepy…”
Before he could finish speaking, Lin Yi moved with lightning-fast speed. He drew a dagger from his waist, giving them no chance to react. In a flash of cold light, he slit their arteries one by one!
In an instant, the four of them widened their eyes. The abrupt turn of events left them bewildered.
Caie Mitsui reacted swiftly, covering the mouths of two of them with all her strength, determined not to let them make a sound that might alert anyone outside.
Lin Yi did the same, covering the mouths of the remaining two. Not a single noise was allowed to escape.
Roughly a minute later, the four men ceased their struggles in succession. Blood sprayed everywhere, turning the ultrasound room into what looked like a scene straight out of hell.
“Mr. Lin Yi!”
Caie Mitsui threw her arms around Lin Yi and began crying uncontrollably, overwhelmed with emotion.
Lin Yi gently stroked her head.
“I know it’s been tough for you, but now’s not the time for celebration. We need to move quickly, or it’ll be too late.”
