Bear-san Being Guided
A few days had passed since I came back from my short trip with Noa and the other girls.
I was staying at home after all that ‘going out’.
As I slept with Swaying Bear and Hugging Bear as cushions, Fina, who was there to help with the dismantling of monsters I collected, scolded me, saying, “Yuna-san, you’re so messy.”
“Fina Mama is strict.” (Yuna)
Well, Fina scolded me for many things, but I was happy that she cared about me.
If I was living alone, there would be no one who would worry about me.
Lately, I’ve been spending my time relaxing, visiting the hot springs of the Land of Wa almost every day.
“You came again today?” (Kagali)
Kagali-san said in a surprised voice.
“It’s fine. It’s the house I was given, after all.” (Yuna)
“Yeah, but be careful of getting found out by Suzuran.” (Kagali)
“I know.” (Yuna)
I headed to the hot springs with Swaying Bear and Hugging Bear, who had turned into cubs.
I took off my bear costume, got naked, washed my body, and entered the warm hot spring water.
And while I found nowhere better to relax than in a hot spring, the ones I preferred the most were those that have lukewarm waters.
“Ahh~” (Yuna)
Oh, it felt good.
I’d received something really nice from the emperor.
At first, I wondered if it was okay to receive such a big house with a hot spring, but Sakura and the others told me that it was a small price to pay considering that the country would have been destroyed by the giant serpent.
Since I received it, I would gratefully use it.
After enjoying the hot spring, I headed to Kagali-san’s place.
As usual, Kagali-san was drinking alcohol in her little girl form.
“Drinking too much is not good for your health.” (Yuna)
“You don’t have to say the same things as Suzuran.” (Kagali)
“Maybe the reason you can’t return to your original form is because you’re drinking too much alcohol?” (Yuna)
Kagali-san stopped drinking the cup in her hand at my words.
“I heard that drinking a small amount of alcohol is good for your health, but drinking too much is not.” (Yuna)
“What do you mean?” (Kagali)
“Kagali-san is not like normal people. I think that the magic power to grow your body and strengthen your constitution is perhaps being used to heal the areas that have been damaged by alcohol.” (Yuna)
“Now that I think about it, the last time I returned to normal, it was after hibernating for a long time, so I wasn’t drinking during those times.” (Kagali)
“Then you should refrain from drinking alcohol…” (Yuna)
“That’s impossible!” (Kagali)
As Kagali-san answered, her hand, which was holding the cup, shifted to her mouth and she gulped down the alcohol.
“There’s no way I can quit drinking!” (Kagali)
Even if she said it so forcefully, nothing would happen. I didn’t drink alcohol, so I didn’t know how delicious it was.
I wondered if alcohol was something that one couldn’t simply quit drinking.
There was a word called abstinence, but it may be difficult to do.
It might be the same as when I couldn’t stop playing games, anime, or reading manga.
But I was able to quit because I didn’t have them when I came to this world, but I do still miss them.
If I had them in this world, I would play games and read manga once more.
I was curious about the sequel to that game I was playing, as well as the continuation of that manga.
It was difficult to give up something you really enjoy doing.
Well, Kagali-san was not a bad drunk at the very least, so she didn’t cause trouble for others.
And if she couldn’t return to her adult form because of alcohol, that was her own fault.
If she understood her situation, then I think it was okay to let her drink as much as she liked.
However, there were people who were worried about Kagali-san, so I hoped she took care of herself.
I remembered Fina worrying about me.
I should try not to make Fina worry as much as possible.
There was a saying that goes, “Learn from others’ mistakes.”
