Sanchez had just arrived at the warehouse when he witnessed the scene of Song Heping releasing the prisoners.
"Who are those people?"
He evidently noticed something suspicious.
Those guys around Naxin didn't look like company employees.
"Militants."
Song Heping was very straightforward, not hiding anything.
Sanchez thought he had heard wrong, "Captured last night?"
Song Heping continued to answer frankly, "Yes. They came here last night to cause trouble and we captured them."
"And you released them!?" Sanchez almost jumped up, "Do you think they will be grateful to you after you release them, let us go, and stop attacking us in the Cook Oil Field Area?"
He was very agitated.
His face was filled with an expression of "You naïve fool."
Song Heping said, "You are the head of the engineering department, not the security chief, Sanchez, you need to understand your role."
Sanchez's face turned red instantly.
He had originally planned to come over to apologize to Song Heping.
And to say thanks.
Yesterday, he had confronted Song Heping over the evacuation of employees to the town.
But now, anger had washed away all those feelings of gratitude.
"I'm going to report your actions to the company! These people shouldn't have been released, they should have been handed over to the Alliance Conference for them to deal with!"
"Do whatever you want."
Song Heping didn't plan to pay him any attention.
That was just his personality.
He never wasted words on trivial people.
Was he supposed to explain his tactical plans to Sanchez?
Even if he had the patience, Song Heping was also afraid that Sanchez might leak the information.
Watching Sanchez storm off in anger, the cook shrugged and said, "You really offended him, and he's from Wood Company."
Song Heping said, "I have no obligation to care about his feelings, just like yesterday, if I had listened to him, do you think with the firefight last night, these unarmed and without self-defense capability people would have survived?"
The cook thought it made sense, so he nodded in agreement.
Song Heping said, "Ferrari told me that over at the Cook Oil Field Area last night, two were seriously injured, the situation is not good, both have been sent back to Baghdad, one local employee and one engineer."
Said pointing to the ground.
"We didn't have a single injury here."
The cook said, "You've released Naxin, and even taunted him, he surely will come back with his men this week, now they know our weapons condition and personnel, they will definitely make targeted attack plans, and it will be hard for us to hold them off then."
Song Heping smiled, "Don't worry, I've anticipated this move."
Said, he picked up an assault rifle that lay nearby.
"Take a look at the weapons Naxin and his men had."
The cook took it over and glanced at it, his eyes lit up.
"Looks kinda like..."
"Like the M16 assault rifle, right!?"
"Yes, American make!" the cook was somewhat surprised, "Is he from the Persian special forces unit?"
"This is a QC assault rifle, a replica," Song Heping said, "Naxin and his men are mostly Persian special forces, Ferrari said the Madheh Armed has always been supported by the Persians, sending people to help train their soldiers isn't something incomprehensible."
The cook fell silent.
He understood what that meant.
The Persian Forces officers involved in military training and operations here in Illiguo must be from the Revolutionary Guard's Special Forces unit.
This was undeniable.
Persia and Illiguo had always harbored deep-seated grudges against each other, each wishing to eliminate the other.
Thus, for many years, Persia had been supporting the Madheh Organization.
Now that Illiguo's idiot, Sadam, had been overthrown, it was a perfect opportunity to promote their own people to power and increase their influence in Illiguo. The Persians certainly wouldn't miss it.
Once it involved the Persians, it was more troublesome than dealing with the Kurd Armed.
After all, they were a national force.
Whether in terms of financial power or military strength, if things got serious, a small company like ours couldn't withstand them.
"So you plan to suck up to them?" the cook asked.
