c206: 177: The Boss is Really Awesome!

Song Heping had finally figured out the structure inside.

It was absolutely impossible to hard-charge from the main entrance.

The place was too narrow, with long corridors and narrow stairs. Even rushing in with a bulletproof shield wouldn't work—if the enemy threw down a hand grenade, it would be the end of them.

He glanced at the situation on the street.

A few corpses of Illigo Soldiers lay on the roadside.

The firefight continued.

Hunter and Queen were providing fire support from the direction of the small square.

Luckily for them, otherwise the armed militants in the building would recklessly emerge and shoot down.

Turning to look at Vincent, Song Heping was so furious he nearly wanted to shoot him!

The guy had actually taken the tanks and Humvees and left!

Just kept moving forward!

He didn't care about what was happening here at all.

In his eyes, there was only the "Hunter" sniper a thousand meters away!

"This idiot!"

Song Heping was seething with rage.

It was rare for him to lose his temper.

But clearly, Vincent's approach was completely out of sync with his own.

Vincent saw everyone else, except for himself and his teammates, as disposable assets.

Even if he had left one Humvee here for fire support, it wouldn't have made it so tough for himself and the Chef.

Now, only a few Sword Camp Illigo Soldiers and Chef and a few others were left here to clean up the mess while Vincent and his team had virtually abandoned them and ran!

Motherfucker!

This bill, he noted!

Song Heping muttered to himself in his heart.

Based on the current comparison of forces, their own numbers were at an absolute disadvantage.

If it had been the defensive side, it would be one thing, but they were still the attackers!

This was truly deadly!

But retreating now wasn't an option either.

Retreating would be equivalent to betraying Vincent and his team.

Even though Vincent was arrogant and unpleasant, he had after all signed a contract and needed to maintain some professional ethics, right?

So they still had to take down these few buildings, establish support points, and ensure the safety of Vincent's advancing group.

"Song! You got kicked out too, huh!"

Chef, who was hiding by the wall across the street, saw Song Heping run out of the building with his head and face covered in dust, and crouched down there, bursting into laughter.

This guy could joke at any time.

Da Maozi's heart is big indeed!

"You can still laugh? If we don't get back in, we're all done for!"

Song Heping patted the dust off his head and looked up again at the buildings nearby.

This area resembled the urban villages back home a bit, where the buildings were very close to each other.

The deadliest part about this cluster of buildings was that they interconnected with each other. The armed militants who had been entrenched here for a long time were certainly more familiar with the terrain than his people were and they might even have devised how to use the buildings to annihilate the invading enemy.

Every second they delayed was another second of danger.

Because you simply can't predict out of so many windows and so many buildings, from which one a gun might pop out and shoot you down.

"We can't keep dragging our feet here..."

Song Heping grew more worried the more he thought about it.

He looked around.

A nearby alley caught his attention.

So, he walked down the alley.

Chef shouted from across the street, "Song, what are you doing?"

"Keep their door covered for me, don't let them rush out!"

"No problem!"

Although Chef didn't know what Song Heping was up to.

Still, he followed through.
