c930: 867 Situation Assessment

Colonel Ka is someone Song Heping is quite familiar with.

He clearly remembers that Colonel Ka has indeed made many enemies in the international community.

In fact, countries like Song Heping's own homeland are considered very tolerant and friendly, yet even so, they have no favorable impression of Colonel Ka.

There were rumors that, during his visit years ago, Colonel Ka was extremely arrogant, attempting to purchase mushroom bombs but failed, instead slandering East University by claiming it was secretly expanding its nuclear capabilities, which led to highly strained relations between the two sides.

Overall, Colonel Ka is an extremely conceited person, with his idol being Egypt's former president Nasser. He always dreams of becoming a leader of Africa, establishing an alliance and crowning himself the leader.

Even for his supporter Russia, Colonel Ka lacks the necessary respect, openly declaring that Russia can no longer inherit the status of the Former Soviet Union, and began to gradually sever military and trade relations with Russia.

As for the United States, there's no need to elaborate; Colonel Ka supported terrorists who blew up American airliners in his early years, deeply cementing the conflict between the two sides.

It can be said that among the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council, Colonel Ka has offended almost all of them.

If any of these major powers were to take action against him, Colonel Ka's regime could very well be in jeopardy.

"You continue to closely monitor the situation over there, collect the latest intelligence. Once Libya falls into chaos, we must immediately recover the entire Northern Darfur, striking while the iron is hot."

Henry said, "I've also heard rumors, it seems the Americans are planning to take action against Colonel Ka."

"Are you sure?"

Song Heping sneered internally.

It seems Colonel Ka's days are numbered.

He recalled the transaction with Lady M.

Assisting the Nasir Government in quelling the rebellion.

If the Americans intervene in the Libyan civil war, for Song Heping, it would be an excellent opportunity. While they're stirring up the situation in North Africa, he could seize the chance to complete what he needs to do.

By the time they resolve the Colonel Ka issue and turn their attention back, everything will already be settled.

Simultaneously, it could serve as a lesson for the Americans.

Since they can take action against the family members of core members of his company, don't blame him for using this chaotic opportunity to press their puppet organization supported by Nasir.

"Henry, I need an assessment report on the current situation in North Africa and Libya, accurate and error-free. Use any means necessary, no matter the cost, and find it and send it to my email within three days, understand?"

"Are you planning a large-scale operation?" Henry seemed to have guessed Song Heping's intention.

"In troubled times, heroes emerge," Song Heping replied, "Now is a good opportunity for us. Take advantage of it to seize some territories in Africa, and also teach the CIA a lesson, letting them know that opposing us comes with a price."

"Alright, no problem," Henry said, "I'll get right on it."

After hanging up, Song Heping stared at the news on the TV screen for a while.

The news was roughly saying that Libya had fallen into chaos, with armed conflict and bloodshed occurring. The United Nations had already taken notice and was holding a conference to discuss whether to establish a no-fly zone over Libya.

No-fly zone?

This sensitive term made Song Heping's heart ripple slightly.

The concept of a "no-fly zone" is indeed a powerful tool.

It reminded him of the South Alliance incident years ago.

Once a no-fly zone is established, it means that countries like the United States, Britain, and France have decided to intervene in the issue.

Whether it can be passed is not the crucial point; after all, during the second Gulf War, the United Nations did not pass a resolution, yet the war still commenced.

Song Heping glanced at his watch.

The date was March 14, 2011.

He reached for the phone on the table and dialed Lady M.

"So, young man, have you safely arrived in Moscow?"

Lady M's voice still carried the cold tone typical of old British women.

"Indeed, I've arrived safely." Song Heping did not forget to express gratitude to this intelligence leader: "Thanks to your support, my plan went so smoothly."

"Since you've arrived safely, don't forget our agreement." Lady M said, "Currently, Nasir is in a very bad situation, the government army is retreating one step at a time, they need someone to support them. We absolutely cannot let the uranium mines there fall into American hands."

"No problem." Song Heping confidently promised, "I will personally depart for Nasir within three days."

Lady M asked, "How many people do you plan to bring?"

"No need for many, 30 people will suffice, just a platoon's strength." Song Heping replied.

Lady M's tone immediately rose: "Are you crazy? Going to a country to suppress a rebellion with just a platoon?"

Song Heping didn't spare Lady M this time, coldly responding: "Madam, I don't need your guidance in handling matters. You may be good at intelligence, but I'm the expert in warfare."

A silence ensued.

Song Heping knew that when facing a spymaster like Lady M, his attitude must not seem weak.

Because once he appeared weak, the other party would feel he was easy to control and thus become more demanding.

Sure enough, after a short silence, Lady M calmed down: "Alright, I won't interfere with your action; I only want results."

Song Heping said, "Okay, but before that, I need you to help me solve two problems."

"I knew this call wouldn't be for anything good." Lady M said, "Tell me, what do you need me to solve?"

"The first thing, I want to know what actions the British and Americans plan to take in this Libyan incident?"

Song Heping spoke frankly.

Obtaining intelligence from someone like Lady M is faster than requiring Henry to gather it, and it's much more accurate.

"That's confidential. You're asking me to reveal confidential information?" Lady M's tone turned cold again.

"No, your government's stance is closely related to my mission to Nasir this time." Song Heping said, "If the Americans plan to intervene, then the resistance I encounter in Nasir will be much less. Do you understand what I mean?"

After contemplating for a moment, Lady M responded: "Alright, I can tell you that Colonel Ka is doomed this time. Not only Britain and the United States, but France is also likely to take action."

"The second matter." Song Heping smiled, "Weapons, I'm going to Nasir to help you and the French; I can bring people myself, but I can't fund the weapons, right?"

Lady M fell silent once more, only answering after over ten seconds: "Song, has anyone ever told you that you have great potential to become an unscrupulous businessman."

Song Heping laughed: "I'll take that as a compliment. So, can it be sorted out?"

"No problem." Lady M said, "I'll give you a phone number; he's our white glove. Contact him, and he'll arrange everything for you. We won't deal with you directly."

Song Heping said: "Understood, understood. You noble British are all lily white, while I'm just a terrorist leader. If people knew we cooperated, how could Great Britain maintain its footing internationally?"

After the call with Lady M ended, Song Heping already felt assured.

Now he just needed to wait for Henry's report, and then compare it with his intelligence to see if there were discrepancies.

If the two pieces of intelligence corroborate each other, then it means Colonel Ka's regime is already counting down.

Now he needs to contact Ferrari, instructing him to return to Africa immediately. Everyone should get back to Africa and assemble to start a new round of expansion plans.

Just as he picked up the phone, ready to call Ferrari for a meeting, suddenly there was a knock at the door.

Knock knock knock——

Song Heping instinctively drew out a gun from his waist, engaging the safety.

Then he walked to the door and asked, "Who?"
