The barrier shook intensely. The fight had been happening for several minutes now, and neither of the two showed any signs of slowing down.
Kira was grinning like a maniac. One look at her and you could tell she was clearly enjoying herself.
Even the teacher looked pleased with their performance, especially Kira’s.
You could hear student cheers - boys on Lucas’s team, girls on Kira’s team... some guys were hoping for Kira to win as well. She’s hot, so it’s understandable.

Kira and Lucas were still charging at each other with full force.
"You’re strong, Kira. The rumors are true. You are a battle-crazed girl. I’ll end you now in one move. Be proud to witness it...next time know who you reject" Lucas gathered a massive fireball.
’Shit, I don’t have much energy left. This bastard is strong too. But I’m not Kira for nothing, and I know my stupid cousin is watching. Gotta give him a good show.’

Lucas shouted, throwing the massive fireball at Kira. He had abandoned the teaching now and wanted to win with everything he had. She had broken his heart, he got depressed after he was rejected by her... but it’s payback time.
Kira saw the fire coming, stepped back a little, then muttered something only she could hear. She used her Wind affinity to move really fast.
After boosting herself with wind magic, she was able to avoid being burnt by the massive fireball coming her way.
`[100 HP remaining]` She saw her health. Although she wasn’t completely hit, she was still affected, and it almost killed her.
She was pissed. This bastard wasn’t following the rules of destroying the orb. He wanted to end her.
’That’s why he’s been looking at my head this whole time. He wants to destroy my Blessed mark along with my body. What did I even do to him? I don’t even know him.’ She was so, so pissed. Her veins popped on her forehead.

It wasn’t a massive fireball. It rained down like lightning.
She floated in the air, fire on her legs, hands wide open. She looked like a goddess raining down fire on Lucas, who was completely petrified.

’Oh shit, I’m going to die,’ Lucas thought. His red orb was completely broken, and Kira had won, but she wasn’t stopping the fire.
He was exhausted, but he kept dodging and avoiding the fire. Anything that came in contact with him made him scream.
"Argggg!!!! It fucking hurts!"

"Lucas is in pain."

"That’s enough" the teacher—Rose moved.
Kira fell down. The barrier broke.
Lucas was burned, bleeding everywhere, smelling like roasted meat.
"Hey, you two, take Lucas to the infirmary," Rose pointed at two students, who quickly hurried, afraid Lucas was going to die at any moment.
"Kira, you’re strong, and I like that, but learn to control your temper. You almost killed him, which is really bad. He is a Blessed - an important person for the human future, same as all of them. You’re banned from fighting until Lucas recovers. Am I clear?" Rose spoke with authority.
Inside, she was actually happy to have a student this strong, and she knew Lucas had been planning something bad for her. That’s why she wasn’t punishing Kira severely.
"Yes, Teacher. I’m really sorry," Kira spoke as she bowed her head.
"Good" then she looked at the students.
"Someone take Kira to the infirmary. Class is over." She opened a portal.
"Here, take this and see me at my office, Lynx" she tossed him an artifact, which he caught and then disappeared.
The whole class looked at Kira, who fell weakly to the ground, eyes closed. Lynx quickly rushed to her, carried her princess style, and left the class.
