Lynx groaned loudly and dragged a hand down his face. He hadn’t even finished resting.
Nyx opened her eyes beside him, her crimson gaze sharp despite just waking up. "You feel it too, huh" she asked softly, slowly sitting up. The air in the Forbidden Zone had turned heavy.
"Yeah, demons and beasts are coming this way." Lynx got up, rolling his shoulders. His body was relaxed but his instincts were already screaming.
"You’ll have to face them alone. My powers haven’t come back fully. I haven’t used them in almost a thousand years." Nyx’s voice was quiet, almost apologetic.
Lynx reached for her, pulled her close, and kissed her lips. It was slow, warm, and lingering. When he pulled back he smiled and pinched her nose lightly. "It’s fine. I’m pretty strong. I faced Mal’Zaroth and came back alive, remember? I also saved you."
She giggled, the sound breaking some of the tension. "Yeah. All Hail The Great Lynx, for saving the Demon Princess from The Demon Monster King Mal’Zaroth." She said it dramatically, waving her hands like she was putting on a play.
Lynx felt his dick getting hard again, she was just too stunning, and she was naked, her breast jiggled with every move.
Nyx felt him staring, she blushed shyly, "stop staring as if you’re going to devour me any minute now, I’m still sore you know"
"Yeah I know but it’s hard to control myself when you’re like a Hot Demon Goddess". Lynx laughed, but his eyes were already turning toward the darkness. The ground was starting to tremble.
Nyx created a robe out of thin air and clothed herself. She looked over at him, still standing there bare and unbothered.
"Are you going to fight like that?"
"Yeah...." Lynx answered with a grin, picking up his sword from the floor. With a thought he created a comfortable Ice Bed for Nyx and stepped forward.
"Grawllll"
"Kekekeke"
The sounds echoed closer. The monsters were here.
"Go Lynx, slaughter them all!" Nyx cheered from her ice bed in the pitch black forbidden zone like the biggest fan girl alive.
Lynx just laughed at her adorable behavior, shaking his head. "Can’t believe she’s past a thousand years old." He muttered.
The monsters came rushing out of the dark and Lynx charged at them.
The first wave slammed into him like a black tide. Level 20 beasts, horned and massive, roared as they charged. Demons wreathed in cursed flame followed behind, screeching.
Lynx didn’t even slow down. Whisper Step activated and his presence vanished from the air. The first beast swung a claw down and hit nothing but ice. From the ground, jagged spears of Ice erupted and tore through three monsters at once, freezing their blood mid-air.
He spun, palm out. Fire exploded outward in a wave, SS-Rank flames swallowing a group of demons whole. Their screams were cut short as Lightning cracked down from the sky, guided by his hand. Bolt after bolt struck, reducing them to ash.
A massive demon tried to flank him. Lynx raised his other hand and Gravity crushed down. The demon’s knees shattered as it was slammed into the earth. Lynx appeared behind it in the next second, sword already moving. One clean strike and its head rolled.
More came. Ten, twenty, fifty. It didn’t matter. Ice to lock their feet. Fire to burn their bodies. Lightning to erase their heads. Gravity to break their bones before they could even touch him.
Blood and steam filled the air, but none of it touched him. Primordial Healing was already washing away the exhaustion. By the time the last demon fell, the entire clearing was silent. Only scorched earth and frozen corpses remained.
Lynx exhaled, licking the blood off his sword. "All clear."
From her ice bed, Nyx was clapping with a huge smile. "That’s my monster."
