Lynx yawned as he stretched his body. Every muscle popped. "I haven’t slept as comfortable as this since forever," Lynx hugged his pillow and started sobbing dramatically. `Sniff.. Sniff’ "I missed you pillow, I fucking missed you."
His voice cracked on purpose. He was being extra. He hadn’t felt this relaxed in weeks.
He reached for his phone, then remembered he doesn’t have one anymore. His old one got lost, he didn’t remember where he kept it last. `Tsk.` Annoying. He was too lazy to care right now.
He stretched one more time before standing up from his bed. His enhanced hearing picked up some shooting sounds, from Daniel’s side.
He opened his translucent door and walked out of his room.
"Fuck, another derank. What kind of lobby is this, it’s hard as hell," He heard Daniel’s frustrated voice coming from his side of the room.
Headphones was on his dark hair. His door was opened so Lynx walked over to him, he called. "Hey man"... no reply. Daniel was still cussing at the game, eyes locked on the screen.
Lynx raised a brow. Then he tapped Daniel on the shoulder. Daniel flinched and turned back to see Lynx. He ripped his headset off. "Yo, I’m gaming right now." His voice was annoyed but not mad.
"I know bro, just wanted to ask what time it is?" Lynx asked casually, arms crossed.
"Don’t you have a phone bro?" Daniel sighed and reached for his phone, he double tapped the screen and the time showed. "It’s 8 PM bro."
`’Shit I’ve been asleep since afternoon, must have been really tired. Even with primordial healing and immunity, I still needed that sleep’` Lynx thought while he muttered "thanks" to the guy.
At the same time the room door opened and a guy stepped in. Around 5’11 or 6 ft, blonde hair, brown eyes, handsome face. His face had a frown as he spotted Lynx.
Their gaze locked, measuring each other. The air instantly got heavy. Lynx viewed the guy’s stats instantly as he felt off vibes coming from the guy towards him.

Peter was looking at the guy too. He knew he was handsome but he was nowhere near this guy and that irked him the more. His jaw tightened. The rumors are true. This Lynx guy is the most handsome guy in the academy. And he hated it.
"I heard you beat Caius to pulp," Peter’s voice came out cold and prideful.
"Yeah, I did. He was pretty annoying and weak," Lynx said with zero effort, as if what he said was supposed to be obvious.
Daniel’s eyes widened. He removed the headphones from his head again and looked at both of them, feeling the not friendly vibes coming from both of them to each other. He turned to Lynx.
"You really beat up that guy huh, I saw it on the group chat. I even saw his picture, you messed him up pretty bad. His goons will come for you now."
Lynx laughed. It was a lazy, dangerous laugh. "I’ll break all their bones with a flick of my finger, let them come. In fact Caius himself knows better not to send them to me." Lynx started walking out of Daniel’s side of the room.
Daniel laughed loudly, trying to break the tension. "Damn, if the girls were here, they’ll be falling for you all the more."
Lynx smiled at the statement, while Peter’s eyes turned cold. The air around him felt colder. Like the temperature dropped 5 degrees.
He was jealous. Jealous of the spotlight Lynx was getting, and how handsome and strong he is. All his life he was used to being treated like a prince. Now this guy is here, recently became a blessed, got four affinities, really strong and handsome too. Getting all the girls. He was pissed but he calmed himself down again. He forced a neutral face.
Lynx felt every single thing that just happened and knew what was running inside Peter’s head. He brushed it off. The guy isn’t a threat to him. Not even close.

"Peter you said you’ll game with me and help me rank up tonight if I could fuck Lisa. And I did that this afternoon, you can ask Lynx if you want to confirm," Lynx heard Daniel’s voice.

Peter glanced at Lynx one more time, disgust flickering in his eyes. He opened his translucent door and entered his room, "I’m tired, maybe tomorrow," with that he entered his room and shut the door.
"What’s with that guy, is he always like that?" Lynx asked, turning to Daniel.
"Yeah bro, but he’s really kind though, maybe I’m just used to his attitude but he’s not a bad guy," Daniel defended him quickly. He looked awkward.
