After Yan Feifan briefly explained what he had done in cardiac surgery, Wang Chuan wasn’t particularly surprised.
"Given your meticulous grasp of human anatomy and your precise surgical technique, it’s understandable that you could pull off a simplified version of an off-pump bypass."
Wang Chuan commented, then couldn’t help but add, "Feifan, you really have some nerve."
"Anyone else, no matter how confident they were, would be sweating buckets performing a ’bomb defusal’ surgery like that on a heart for the first time."
"But you? It was like a walk in the park. You even seemed to enjoy it."
Yan Feifan said with a straight face, "Chief, I was actually quite nervous. My heart rate was definitely over a hundred at the time."
Wang Chuan didn’t believe a word of it.
Wang Chuan, Qin Ying, Chen Yu, Lo Jun, and others had once discussed Yan Feifan and unanimously agreed that the kid had the heart of a lion.
He was the type of person who, in the operating room, became calmer the more complex and difficult the situation got. He simply didn’t know the meaning of fear.
To put it more bluntly, Yan Feifan was a reckless but confident daredevil.
Somehow, that guy always managed to turn in a surprisingly perfect answer sheet.
However, Wang Chuan and the others also believed something else.
Given Yan Feifan’s arrogant and risk-taking nature, he would either make no mistakes at all, or he would make a colossal one.
Wang Chuan, Lo Jun, Qin Ying, and Chen Yu were all very curious.
Just what were the limits of Yan Feifan’s abilities? They hoped to find out before he got himself into a mess so big that no one could clean it up...
Wang Chuan tossed a thick file to Yan Feifan.
"I’ve got another job for you."
Yan Feifan hurriedly caught the file, opened it, and couldn’t help but exclaim in surprise, "Only seventeen?"
"Huh, and she’s from Korea?"
"Isn’t their plastic surgery supposed to be pretty good?"
Wang Chuan scoffed disdainfully. "If we’re talking about the average level, their plastic surgery skills are indeed a bit better than ours."
"But at the highest level, our domestic skills have already surpassed theirs."
"Just from what I know, several of their famous celebrities had their procedures done at cosmetic clinics here in our country."
Wang Chuan pointed to the file in Yan Feifan’s hands. "This is a trainee that an entertainment company over there has been carefully grooming."
"They say she’s excellent in all aspects—dancing, singing, stage presence, and so on. It’s just that her looks are a bit lacking."
"So they’re thinking of fixing this shortcoming before her official debut."
Yan Feifan let out a soft "oh," studying the photo of the girl with a sweet smile and a very youthful vibe.
To be fair, the girl could be considered pretty.
Her face shape wasn’t the round, flat type common in Korea; it was more of an oval shape. Her mouth and chin were quite nice.
The obvious flaws were her monolids and small eyes.
Also, her nose bridge was a bit flat, and the tip of her nose had plenty of room for refinement.
’If a small dimple were added to her left cheek, her cuteness and recognizability would definitely increase quite a bit...’
As Yan Feifan mulled over the plastic surgery plan, a thought suddenly occurred to him.
"Chief, did they come here because of my reputation? Did they seek us out specifically?"
Wang Chuan chuckled and shot him down, "Feifan, don’t get ahead of yourself. Your fame won’t spread that quickly."
"Your peers won’t go around singing your praises. They might even intentionally badmouth you."
"And those two big stars are too busy keeping things under wraps; they’re certainly not going to do any promotion for you."
After a pause, Wang Chuan explained, "They contacted me directly through a past connection."
"And I recommended you."
"Your previous full-face reconstruction cases were what really caught their attention."
"They love this type of full-face procedure that doesn’t require too many changes but results in a qualitative leap in appearance."
Wang Chuan then reminded him, "Feifan, do a good job on this surgery."
"One will lead to ten, and ten to a hundred."
"Who knows, you might end up cornering the market on plastic surgeries for all the celebrities over there."
Yan Feifan scoffed, his tone dismissive. "That’s not what I’m aiming for. Besides, these full-face cosmetic surgeries don’t really interest me anymore."
Wang Chuan said bluntly, "Five hundred million Korean won. Interested now?"
’Five hundred million!’
Yan Feifan quickly pulled out his phone to check the latest exchange rate and found it was only equivalent to a little over 2.8 million RMB.
Although it was much less than he had expected, it was still more than ten times the one or two hundred thousand yuan fee for Lv Xin and the others.
Yan Feifan was still quite satisfied.
