c15: Dinner With Family...

Chapter 15: Dinner With Family... Jane moved around the kitchen with quick, practiced motions, setting the dining table with plates and utensils that clinked softly against the wood.

She had thrown together a simple dinner: steaming white rice, a rich tomato stew thick with spices and chunks of tender beef, some fried plantains golden and crisp at the edges, and a side of fresh salad to balance it all.

The aroma of cooked onions, peppers, and simmering meat filled the house, warm and inviting.

The family gathered at the table soon after.

Hidden beneath the easy surface of the meal sat an awkward tension between Lucien and Jane.

Every time their eyes met across the dishes, the memory of his fingers buried deep in her slick heat flashed between them, and it only made Jane’s movements hasty and panicked.

Evelyn, sensing the slight stiffness, purposefully coughed, not sure what exactly was going on.

She glanced at her two daughters, before her eyes rested on her husband.

"Lucien, why dont you say a quick prayer for us before we have dinner?"

I smiled and clasped my hands in a praying gesture.

With that I said the prayers and we began our meal.

"So, how was school today, girls?" Evelyn asked first, passing the bowl of plantains around.

Sophie chattered happily about a funny story from class, her words tumbling out between bites.

Jane smiled and nodded along, though her fork moved a little too carefully on her plate.

As I watched the scene play out, the interaction between the three girls, I felt faintly... bored...

I rolled my eyes a little and placed a piece of plantain in my mouth.

Just as I was about to chew through it, my movements stalled and I thought of something.

I chuckled internally, then my voice echoed.

"Hey, Jane? Please pass me the rice."

Jane’s fingers on her fork trembled.

It wasnt because of what I’d asked, rather...

’Th... what’s this feeling?’

The moment I finished speaking, a warm feeling surged through Jane’s body.

My deep and resonant voice continuously echoing in her mind.

It felt similar to when I’d fingered her. In fact the feelings werent too far apart.

It was as though a light thumb had brushed against her pussy lips causing her body to tingle and shiver with pleasure.

"Jane?" I called out once more, and the shiver ran through her whole body once more.

Jane clasped her thighs together and heat was already beginning to creep up her cheeks.

’Wha—what’s happening to me?’ she muttered to herself, still in a daze.

I stared at her micro expression with a look of interest.

Of course I knew exactly what was happening.

This was the activation of the voice trigger mark.

Previously I’d placed three words with the mark.

Two of them were ’Jane’ and ’please’

Now those marks were coming in handy.

I wanted to let out a loud chuckle but knew I had to control myself and feign ignorance.

"Jane?" I called the third time and my wife and Sophie who were lost in their conversation were attracted to the both of us.

"Jane? Are you alright?" Sophie nudged her from the side.

"Uh... yeah... yes." Jane recovered pretty quickly and glanced at her sister with a forced smile.

"Lucien was asking for the rice?" Evelyn narrowed her eyes suspiciously at her daughter, thinking her daughter was purposefully ignoring him.

Although she could tell they’d have a hard time getting used to him, they still had to pay respect to him.

Evelyn was already starting to be pissed by her daughters’ behaviour towards him.

Thankfully, just then, Jane finally recovered and with a flustered expression and a shaky hand she passed the bowl of rice.

"Thank you, Jane." I replied as I collected the bowl of rice from her.

Jane’s hand trembled and the bowl almost fell off her hand the moment I called her name.

Another tingle erupted in her pussy, jolting her.

"I... uh... can I use the restroom? I’ll finish my meal later?!" Jane quickly said and without waiting for either I or Evelyn to reply she stood up and rushed towards her room.

As she dashed for her room, through her shorts I could see a faint glimpse of a damp patch in her secret spot.

’So this is how effective a tier 1 item is?’ I mused internally, admiring the sight.

"What’s wrong with your sister?" Evelyn asked Sophie.
