“What are you thinking about? Did those low-level priests bully you again?” William asked casually.

Falren looked at him, then tilted his head. William bit his apple before locking eyes with Falren.

“That doesn’t bother me… where is Commander?”

“He’s busy, talking to the other leaders.”

“What about Detri?”

“What about me?” Detri appeared from the armor tent, adjusting his shoulder.

“Did you feel something strange earlier?”

“Strange?” Detri and William repeated together. Detri shook his head.

“I see…” Falren pondered. Then his mind raced with concerns, leading his eyes back to Valencia. Her eyes were on them. Falren’s eyes widened for a second.

Valencia walked toward them with Adon. William and Detri saw her and quickly bowed.

“Your Grace,” they called unisonly.

“I’m hungry…” she said, hiding her lower lip. Everyone dropped their jaw and looked at her. “Kael said to eat… but I don’t know where to go.”

Adon’s arms fell lifelessly.

“He left without ordering them to bring you food… I see. He’s a scumbag for leaving his wife in the tent all day…” Adon whispered.

William nodded.

“Yes… a total selfish bastard.”

Valencia chuckled nervously, scratching her head.

“It’s not that… I was asleep for a while.”

“Still…” Adon added, squinting her eyes.

They led her to the kitchen, sitting beside her to make sure that she ate everything on the plate. As they ate, Falren watched Valencia. Is it just me… or is there an enormous amount of shadow around her? From his vision, a floating purple shadow flowed around her.

Vrastos smirked through his shadow form as he stared at Falren.

“Peek-a-boo, young priest… he has enough faith to be called a top-tier believer, Athesia.”

Athesia looked at Falren through Vrastos’ portal.

“Oh, please… he definitely despises me for what happens to him,” Athesia revealed, looking away.

Vrastos laughed as his hand slid under Valencia’s chin.

“Little priest has a grudge... a very demonic sort of grudge."
