c312: Conversations (2)

"What's the occasion?" I asked, already prepared and walking ahead of Catherine to the dining room.

"Nothing really. Giggs suggested you might appreciate a hearty meal."

"He isn't wrong. I very much appreciate the opportunity to eat till exhaustion."

Much of my Saturday was spent the same way as Friday.

There was the variation of me dedicating four hours to mind breathing, but not much else was different.

On Sunday morning, I decided to go for a jog—target distance, 5 kilometres.

For this run, I took along a maid. Catherine didn't want to let me, but I needed a guide, and despite her warnings, my reply remained the same:

"As long as she isn't interested, nothing will happen."

Despite leaving at 5:45, I returned to the house past 9:00 a.m., and Catherine wore an unhappy expression.

"You guys took too long."

"We had to stop and scratch an itch."

Catherine's expression was tight, but hearing my explanation, she let out a breath of defeat.

"Go in and pack your things," she said, waving at the young female behind me. The tight grey clothes she wore did a good job of revealing her endowments.

The girl, bearing short black hair and having brown eyes full of hope, looked at me. I shrugged.

"Don't worry. She'll give you a good severance package."

A smile graced her lips. The female walked past us, and I didn't miss the opportunity to deliver a slap to her ass.

"Did you really expect her to keep her desires in check?" I turned to Catherine.

"What did you promise her?" The old lady let out a sigh.

From her expression, it was clear she had expected something like this to happen.

"$600,000."

"Just to fuck her?"

"She told me a good story.

How could I not be magnanimous to my underlings?"

"Will you give me $60,000?"

"Will you ride me?" I narrowed my eyes at Catherine, trying to make out the assets she had beneath her bogus uniform.

After my bath, I went to the dining room. Stepping into the room, I was met with a surprise.

"I even forgot you were here. How have you been?" I said as I took a seat at the head of the table, looking at Grace.

"Fine."

"She said she didn't want to offend you, so she locked herself up in her room."

The words from the female beside Grace were accusatory and she made that very clear with her tightened eyes.
