c3559: Numerous Arrays

The nearby space rippled, causing all the spirit seeds to fall off of the spirit tree and spiral into the air. The attendants at the tree were all startled, and they quickly tried to collect the seeds, as they could not all be dispersed at once.

Su Shidao hurried over, and he was dumbfounded by what he found. "Third Boss, have you gone mad? Stop that right now!"

Lu Yin turned his head. "I said that I was going to carve some words on the walls of the Apex Palace. No one can stop me from doing that."

Su Shidao was stunned. Does he really intend to carve on the Apex Palace?

Throughout the history of the Spirit Nidus, how many people had succeeded in entering the Ascendant Hall? How many had succeeded in entering the Apex Palace? The Third Boss was far too vicious.

"You should give up on that. When the thirty-six Ascensii work together, they are able to withstand even the Seven Seraphs," Su Shidao cautioned.

Lu Yin's eyes were cold, and he lashed out again, this time using Linked Palm. ƒrēe.com

The sequence particles from Untamed and the thirty-six Ascensii surged towards Lu Yin’s hand. Once they were pulled into the Linked Palm, they strengthened his attack.

Lan's pupils shrank sharply. What kind of battle technique is this? How can he even use another person’s sequence particles?

The High Seraph gave a small smile, as he had seen this technique before. It’s quite interesting how the Tianyuan Megaverse’s development has sparked so many uncertainties. It should be kept—they might be able to develop an interesting power.

Lu Yin’s palm slammed down, and the thirty-six Ascensii all spat out more blood as more and more of their sequence particles were used to power the Linked Palm. This was Lu Yin’s counterattack. There was no need for him to force his way through Untamed or the Ascensii. Simply appropriating their sequence particles was enough to effectively destroy their defenses from within.

Linked Palm allowed a person to use the strength of their opponents to fight back, and it would be easy to use Linked Palm to break through the Treasureform Sequence Technique. However, doing so would take a great deal of time.

The dignified guardians of the Apex Palace, who specialized in defense and who had abandoned all means of attack, would be utterly humiliated if their defenses were easily overcome.

Despite repeatedly coughing up blood with worsening injuries, the thirty-six Ascensii were being supported by the Untamed sequence base. They would not fall easily.

Su Shidao's voice reached Lu Yin's ear. "Sequence bases are one of the Spirit Nidus’s greatest treasures, taking the sequence particles of numerous powerhouses throughout our history, and Untamed focuses solely on defense. It is extremely difficult to break through. Are you sure you want to waste time here?

"Truthfully, there must be powerful experts within the Apex Palace, but I have no idea if they are the High Seraph’s subordinates or merely the protectors of the Apex Palace. Even if you do manage to carve on the walls of the Apex Palace, it won't mean much if you take too long."

Lu Yin continued to press his hand on the spirit treasure formation. "Do you know what methods Cheng Gong uses?"

Su Shidao could not understand why Lu Yin would suddenly mention Cheng Gong at such a moment. "I have no idea. His techniques are very strange, and while it seems like he’s a spirit treasure master, his methods don’t quite match that either. His methods give me the feeling of... How should I put it?"

The man trailed off, and Lu Yin's eyes sharpened. "Like a more advanced method of using spirit treasures."

Su Shidao's eyes lit up. "Exactly. He still uses the spirit treasures’ danger zones, but whereas we need to arrange them into spirit treasure formations, he directly uses those danger zones. It's really too strange. Not even my Floral Transposition can be used so effortlessly. I had to gather countless years of experience with both spirit treasure formations and my Spirit Transformation innate gift to complete it. Cheng Gong has certainly spent less time than me with spirit treasures, so I’m amazed that he could reach such a level of mastery so quickly. He’s managed to create an unprecedented method."

Lu Yin's expression grew serious. "Did he create that method?"

Su Shidao shook his head. "I don't know. Aside from him, no one else uses that method. He is the first Spirit Treasure Grandmaster to come from Heavenspire."

Cheng Gong’s methods continued to replay in Lu Yin's mind. He had thought about it a great deal. Was it possible that the man had developed an alternate lockbreaking path? Heavenspire was actually the Lesser Spirit Megaverse, the fourth megaverse beyond the three known megaverses. It was not impossible for them to have developed such a unique method, but if that were the case, then the High Seraph certainly knew it.

If their megaverse had not developed the lockbreaking method that Cheng Gong employed, then who could have? If Lu Yin was forced to guess, he would say that the most likely candidate was the High Seraph.

The High Seraph’s combat power made him invincible, and it was certainly possible that he had also delved into spirit treasures. Lu Yin was the greatest Array Grandmaster in the Tianyuan Megaverse, so it was not impossible for the High Seraph to have achieved the same thing in his own megaverse.

Such speculations had long occupied Lu Yin's mind, and he was eager to verify the truth.

Cheng Gong's methods were truly too amazing. Lu Yin was unable to understand them at all, so he would use the current opportunity to see for himself.

With this thought, Lu Yin released his inner universe. One sourcebox array after another appeared and was released.

Before heading to the Umbral Deep, Lu Yin had made it a point to go into seclusion in an interstellar city. With Su Shidao's Floral Transposition serving as the inspiration, Lu Yin had stored a number of specific sourcebox arrays in his inner universe in preparation for the fight at the Umbral Deep. Unfortunately, he had never found the chance to use them in that battle.

Afterward, when he had gone to the Roaming South Realm, he had been shocked by the sourcebox array known as Codex 16, and he had studied it while preparing additional sourcebox arrays.

Lu Yin had not known when he might eventually use his stored sourcebox arrays, but he was certain that they would eventually be needed. It seemed that the time had finally come.

Against the High Seraph, it would not matter how many sourcebox arrays Lu Yin prepared. Regardless of their numbers, they would not be able to accomplish much. Thus, the current situation was the perfect opportunity.

First, the Epoch Blade.

Massive Epoch Blades sliced out from Lu Yin’s inner universe, slashing at the Untamed sequence base, as well as the formation that the thirty-six Ascensii had arranged.

Lan's gaze sharpened, and she immediately looked at Su Shidao.

Even the High Seraph instinctively looked at the old man.

Su Shidao spread out his hands in a helpless manner as he took a few steps back. He had nothing to do with Lu Yin’s actions.

The Epoch Blades fell, one right after another.

No one could guess how many sourcebox arrays Lu Yin had placed in his inner universe. He rolled his die and used Timestop to take advantage of his abilities as the Tianyuan Megaverse’s best Array Grandmaster.

When Su Shidao saw the first Epoch Blade appear, he knew that Lu Yin had already succeeded. The young man had managed to master something similar to Su Shidao’s own Floral Transposition. Floral Transposition had a limit of 999 Epoch Blades, but what about Lu Yin’s ability? Was he also limited?

Of course not.

Regardless of how large or small Lu Yin’s inner universe was, it was still an entire universe.

Lu Yin used the power of Infinity as a substitute for a sourcebox’s danger zone when arranging these sourcebox arrays. He had named this particular Progenitor’s world Infinity precisely because it represented infinite strength. With enough time, Lu Yin could fill his entire inner universe with sourcebox arrays.

These sourcebox arrays were completely worthless against the High Seraph, as the man’s strength was far too high for such measures to mean anything. It was simply a difference in absolute power. However, Lu Yin was confident that he could use the sourcebox arrays stored in his inner universe to bury the entire Spirit Nidus, given enough time. Alone, he would become as powerful as a megaverse.

His Karmic Dao followed a grand structure. Above, the Investiture of the Gods represented the heavens, while below, the Champions' Stage served as purgatory. A vast landmass spanned the cosmos, separating the two aspects of his Karmic Dao, with stars orbiting it and astral phenomena swirling around, hiding the sourcebox arrays. Verdant Eternity encompassed it all, while the Wordless Heavenly Book lay at its core. Within his inner universe, he held Dust World, Lightstream, karma, time, the will of billions of beings, and endless karmic destinies.

This was his inner universe. He was an entire universe unto himself.

Not even the High Seraph could fully perceive the details of Lu Yin’s inner universe.

Lu Yin might not possess the strength necessary to defeat the High Seraph, but it also would not be easy for the High Seraph to defeat Lu Yin. He was certain of that.

The Epoch Blades continued to fall.

Untamed released even more sequence particles, and the thirty-six Ascensii grew pale. One by one, they turned to stare at Lu Yin in disbelief. Was this person really regarded as equal to the Seven Seraphs?
