His first comment about people assuming that Xuan Qi was a spy had not been a joke at all. However, suspecting Xuan Qi of being a spy just because of his accomplishments would only brew distrust, which was why Xu Wuwei had carefully chosen the right timing to raise the question. Even after the lines disappeared, Xu Wuwei still had not yet recovered.
Xu Wuji exclaimed, "Congratulations on obtaining such a talented student!"
