A ring suddenly appeared in Jason’s hand, and he hummed as he turned it over curiously. The ring was dark silver and had a design of a four-leaf clover wrapped around it. Jason activated [Appraisal] to get a better look.

Beginner’s Luck
Rank: S
Durability: 100%
Boosts: MAX Luck for first 10 Seconds of a conflict
Description: A ring that once belonged to the king of the gnomes but was stolen and hidden by Richard Marc after they had a disagreement years ago. It grants the wearer a maximum boost to their luck stats for the first ten seconds of a fight and ensures that no attacks by any enemy in those ten seconds will cause the user any harm.
The ring’s durability will reduce the more the user uses it. In order to maintain its durability, the user must carry out occasional maintenance on the ring.
——
’That’s very useful.’
Jason couldn’t help but be impressed after reading the ring’s description. This basically meant that for the first ten seconds in any fight he gets into, he would be free to do whatever he wanted without having to fear any retaliation from the enemy. If Jason played his card right, then he could end every fight in the first ten seconds and never have to lose again!
Jason immediately put on the ring and he felt his mana surge for a second as it got used to the new foreign artifact before it finally settled back into its normal frequency once again. The ring fit well beside the [Stormheart] ring that his father had also gotten for him, and Jason couldn’t help but wonder what sort of lore his father had that allowed him to get so many useful artifacts.
’I’d love to hear his story someday. Let’s just wait till I find out where he is first. I’ll beat the shit out of him for leaving mum like that, then we’ll sit down and talk.’
Jason tightened his hand into a fist and shook those thoughts out of his head before he turned back to the two siblings standing in front of him. Jason waved his hand with an order, and the siblings vanished from sight and entered into his Alternate Dimension. The wolves that had been tearing into the bodies of the two siblings came back with two large Magic Crystals and the dagger that Rosa had been using. Jason threw the Magic Crystals into his Alternate Dimension since he planned to sell one and eat the other, and he rolled the dagger around expertly while activating [Appraisal].

Due to a special action, the skill [Appraisal] has grown stronger.

Nightwalker’s Companion
Rank: S
Durability: 85%
Boosts: +50% Strength, +50% Stamina
Description: A blade carved from the tooth of the Vampire Bat. It possesses the special characteristic [Bleed], which causes any wound inflicted with the dagger to constantly bleed unless the wound is closed by a skilled healer. This is a sufficiently powerful blade for the user’s current skill level, but the system suggests the user acquires a more powerful blade for future use.
——
’Not bad. At least it’s better than the Wolf’s tooth.’
Jason tossed the dagger into his Alternate Dimension and he hummed as multiple tabs suddenly opened in front of him.

’Seems they’re almost done.’
Jason didn’t bother looking with the [Eye of the King] to see if Fenrir was almost done clearing out the Gate. Instead, he turned to Darren and Henry and told them to listen up.
"The others are already gathered at the exit, and if we don’t get there soon, they’ll leave without us. We’ll be heading out now, but first, we need to get our story down."
Both Henry and Darren swallowed at the serious look on Jason’s face, and Jason gave Darren his attention when he saw him raise his hand. Darren was still shell-shocked by what he had seen and couldn’t stop himself from asking.
"W-What is your Gift, boss?"
Jason waved his hand in a so-so manner.
"It doesn’t matter."
Henry took a step forward.
"You just resurrected the fucking soul from those dead bodies! Of course, it fucking matters!"
