As the air shook, crimson magic power shined from both Shien and Lucy’s Holy Swords, buffeting the air with tempest like magic power.
The Hero from another world and the princess of the Kingdom both infused their magic powers into their respective Holy Swords, coating their Holy Swords with powerful magic edges.
The magic power of the two of them clashed in the air between them. The mighty clashing in the end ended without either side taking the advantage.
Lucy was quite surprised by that.
“So his magic power is actually that strong?”
Lucy really didn’t expect something like this would happen.
The reason was simple. Lucy simply had never met someone whose magic power could rival her own.
To put it in perspective, back when Lucy was born, her naturally born magic power was so great that it alerted the gods and caused one of the three great goddesses, the goddess of fate, to descend and bless her.
Given that, it’s easy to imagine just how terrifying Lucy’s magic power is.
Add to the fact that Lucy also has a skill that increases magic power, and said skill was level 7. When it comes to magic power, Lucy really hasn’t met anyone who could be a match for her.
If Lucy had to name any existence that she has met with magic power on the same scale as her, then the only one she likely could point to was the goddess of fate.
In other words, if it’s not someone on the same level of existence as the three great goddesses or the six great demon lords, then their magic power couldn’t possibly compete with Lucy’s.
But now, Shien did.
“This person. As expected, he’s no average Hero.”
Lucy had finally confirmed this point.
Originally, Lucy had planned on holding back a little.
[Magic Sword] isn’t like other skills. It’s a melee trump card, and its power is dependent on not only the skill level, but also magic power. Thus, Lucy, with her naturally born almighty magic power, had an enormous advantage.
But it’s exactly because her magic power was overly powerful that Lucy had never dared to infuse as much magic power as she wanted to into the [Magic Sword] skill. If she was even a little careless, it could result in untold damages.
However, looking at Shien’s own rising power as well as the growing blade of magic power on his Holy Sword, Lucy also went all out.
Thanks to that, this was the first time in Lucy’s life that she had used all her might, and infused all the magic power she had into her Holy Sword.

Shien, with his [Magic Detection] skill, could more accurately feel just how much magic power Lucy was using. Thus, he grit his teeth, unwilling to show weakness, and increased the amount of magic power he himself was using.
Thus, the two of them couldn’t stop anymore. Due to having been provoked by the other side, their heads heated up and squeezed out all the magic power they had.

In the palace’s guest room, Vivian, who was talking with Diere and the rest, suddenly turned her head, looked toward the palace proper, and showed a surprised expression.
“That magic power…!?”
Diere also showed an enormous reaction along with a shift in her expressions.
“W-what’s happening?”
“S-such terrifying magic power…!”
Lumia and Melika’s faces had already turned completely white.
Within the palace itself, a lot of people were panicking too.
“Earthquake!?”
“No! It’s magic power!”
“What happened!?”
“The knights! Where are the knights!?”
Numerous nobles and knights were also in chaos.
Even in a richly decorated room, a pair of middle-aged men who where speaking suddenly both stopped and stood up.
“This is Lucy’s magic power?”
The one who spoke was a middle-aged man who wore royal robes, had a crown on his head, and held a gorgeous scepter in his hands.
“This is indeed her highness’s magic power.”
Before the previous man, a tall and strongly built man with a face like it was carved out of granite and holding a great sword over two meters tall affirmed with a spark in his eyes.
Of those two men, one gave off a royal presence, while the other was filled with the aura of a knight.
Those two felt Lucy’s magic power as well as a powerful magic power that matched Lucy’s. In response, their expressions turned solemn.
“Was Lucy attacked and is currently fighting?”
The royal looking man hand an ugly expression on his face.
