“Father!”
Inside the Bigusler residence, Geno’s cry of alarm was clear and loud, his panic evident.
“He…”
Tilly’s eyes widened as she looked at the mysterious cloaked figure on the roof, her face full of shock.
“Who are you…?”
Rockto also almost didn’t react, looking at the figure with his back to him, seemingly surprised and uncertain.
The sudden turn of events stunned everyone present, leaving them at a loss.
Shien glanced at them, saying nothing, and simply looked down at the ground.
There, dust and smoke were still billowing, and rubble fell one after another, hitting the ground with crackling sounds.
Saliro was buried underneath, completely disappearing from sight.
From the perspective of others, Shien’s attack was incredibly powerful, sending a Legendary-level expert flying with a single kick, unbelievable, right?
However, Shien wasn’t very happy.
Because the feeling of that kick wasn’t very good.
“So hard.”
Shien murmured.
That kick felt like kicking a piece of iron. Not only was it incredibly hard, but the force of the impact almost made him take a step back.
So, although that kick seemed incredibly powerful, it probably didn’t cause much damage to the opponent, right?
At least, that’s what Shien thought.
And it seemed to be true.
“Bang!”
With an explosion, the dust and smoke on the ground were suddenly dispersed, revealing the scene inside.
Saliro, as if he had shattered the ground, emerged from the rubble, holding his greatsword high, his entire body standing in a giant crater, magic power surging around him.
The falling rubble was deflected.
Even the dust and debris couldn’t approach Saliro, being blocked by his surging magic power.
“Father!”
Seeing Saliro completely unharmed, Geno cried out in surprise and joy.
Unfortunately, Saliro was no longer in the mood to pay attention to his useless son.
“Who are you?”
Saliro glared at Shien with a gloomy face.
“Why are you interfering?”
Saliro was truly furious.
Almost.
He was so close.
In just a moment, he would have succeeded in forcing Rockto to abdicate, capturing Tilly, then Rockto, and obtaining what he had always dreamed of.
But Shien’s arrival had added a lot of variables, making the situation unclear. Saliro was naturally furious.
However, Shien didn’t say anything.
Glancing at the surprised and wary Rockto behind him, then at Tilly, who was staring intently at him, Shien thought for a moment and took a step forward. ᚱäNObÈꞩ
“Swoosh!”
Suddenly, Shien’s figure seemed to break through the constraints of space, appearing in front of Saliro as if traversing a thousand miles in a single step.
“…!”
Saliro’s pupils constricted, and without hesitation, he instinctively stomped on the ground and retreated explosively, putting distance between himself and Shien.
But Shien merely took another step, appearing in front of Saliro like a ghost.
“Slap!”
With a crisp sound, Shien reached out and placed his hand on Saliro’s shoulder before he could react.
This made Saliro’s hair stand on end.
He felt as if a sword was pressed against his throat, not a hand on his shoulder, and a chill ran down his spine.
There was no helping it.
This mysterious person appeared and disappeared without a trace, like a ghost, clinging to him relentlessly, and could even grab his shoulder before he could react. If he wanted to put a sword to his throat, it would be just as easy.
How could Saliro not feel a chill run down his spine?
He had even activated his Unique Skill to its fullest, making his skin as hard as steel, to prevent a sudden attack from this elusive mysterious person.
