"General Bai should know that the talented alchemist should belong to the royal family." The crown Prince turned the blame on Bai Xiang.
The Emperor nodded. "I already sent people to ask General Bai to block the talented alchemist from leaving."
"It is a great idea." The crown prince smiled.
The Emperor looked at his son. "Why are you here, then?"
The crown prince remembered why was he coming to meet his imperial father.
"I want to inform you that Bai Chunhua has been accepted into Tianlong School." The crown prince smiled proudly.
"What? It is a great news." The Emperor smacked his thigh.
Tianlong School was one of the prestige schools that all of the youngsters wanted to attend. Being accepted into that school was pretty amazing.
"We are not choosing the wrong person, then." The Emperor added.
"Hmm..." The crown prince nodded.
Bai Chunhua had been accepted into Tianlong School while Bai Xifeng was not. Even though Bai Xifeng was stronger, she did not have any future compared to Bai Chunhua. In the end, Bai Xifeng would be tied to the fool prince, the third prince.
The crown prince snorted. He did tell Bai Xifeng to break up her engagement with the third prince but she refused. She would rather be with that fool.
To be honest, he was furious with Bai Xifeng for rejecting his offer. It seemed he forgot that he was the one who broke their engagement first and was together with Bai Chunhua.
"Master Xiong Delun must be happy with his pupil’s achievement." The emperor stated.
"He is indeed happy with Bai Chunhua." The crown prince nodded.
"You must be in a good relationship with Master Xiong Delun. It would bring a lot of benefits to our royal family." The emperor reminded the crown prince.
"I understand. Imperial Father." The crown prince nodded.
The crown prince excused himself and left the hall. On his way returning to his palace, he met his brother, the second prince, Liu Wang.
"Greet to Brother, the crown prince." Liu Wang greeted the crown prince.
"Hmm..." The crown prince replied.
"Brother, you must be happy right now." Liu Wang smiled.
"What do you mean?" The crown prince asked.
He knew that the second prince might have something unpleasant to say to him.
"Your fiance, Second Miss Bai, has been accepted into Tianlong School. You must be happy that you did not make a wrong choice back then." Liu Wang smiled.
The crown prince looked smug. "Hmm... I did choose the right one. How about your fiance?"
The second prince’s birth mother, Noble Consort Guifei finally chose a fiance for him two months ago. It was Su Zhilan.
Su Zhilan was a good girl. Liu Wang was satisfied with his birth mother’s choice.

The crown prince remembered Su’s Family. It was one of the old nobles in this country. Meaning Liu Wang had their support. It might threaten his position. His eyes narrowed as he looked at the second prince.

"Yes.... Your fiance is from Bai Family... But her father is not outstanding at all. How pity. It would be great if she is General Bai’s daughter." Liu Wang was mocking Bai Chunhua for having a useless father.
Well, it was true that Bai Chunhua’s father, Bai Guowei did not have much power in his hand. Even his cultivation rank was not so high. Everything was average. The only thing that was great about him was he had an amazing daughter like Bai Chunhua.
The crown prince was fuming inside. He wanted to beat the second prince but he remembered that this place was his imperial father’s place. It would not be good if they caused a commotion here.

The second prince snorted. Su Jan Ying came over and whispered something in his ear. His eyes lifted up.
"Are you sure about that?" Liu Wang asked.
"I did, Your Highness." Su Jan Ying nodded.
"Send someone there. Investigate the matter." Liu Wang ordered.
"As you wish, Your Highness." Su Jan Ying nodded.

Bai Xifeng finally opened her eyes. Xiao Li who fed her soup was surprised that she almost dropped the soup. She quickly put the soup away.
"Young miss, you are awake." Xiao Li cried out loud.
The father and brother who were just about to enter the room rushed over into the room. They saw their daughter and sister already opened her eyes.
"Xixi."
"Xixi."
Both of them called her name.
Bai Xifeng smiled. She tried to get up but she did not have much energy. She ended up falling down again. Bai Xiang managed to catch her.
"Just laid down." Bai Xiang said.
"Yes, Xixi. No need to get up." Bai Tingfeng said.
