Two hours later, Bai Xifeng woke up. She looked around and did not recognize the place. She got out of the bed and went out.
As she got out of the room, she yawned. Her action had been watched by Bai Tingfeng and a few of his men. Bai Tingfeng’s men were shocked to see Bai Xifeng come out of their leader’s room.
They heard about the rumour. However, they thought it was just a rumour. They did not expect to see the rumour was true. Their leader was in love with a man.
"You wake up?" Bai Tingfeng automatically became gentle when facing his precious sister.
"Hmm... Do you think there will be a food? I am hungry though." Bai Xifeng rubbed her stomach.
"Don’t worry. I already saved some food for you to eat." Bai Tingfeng said.
"Oh, really? Thank you." Bai Xifeng grinned.
"Just wait, I will ask someone to bring the food here." Bai Tingfeng said.
He then turned to a normal Bai Tingfeng and ordered one of his men to inform someone to bring the food to his room.
Bai Xifeng finally noticed there were people in front of her. She was stunned before bowing to everyone.
Those people just bowed back to Bai Xifeng out of respect for Bai Tingfeng.
The food arrived. Bai Xifeng decided to eat inside the room. She did not want to disturb Bai Tingfeng.
Since she was eating, Bai Tingfeng began to listen to the report that his men wanted to tell him.
It was about the array that appeared in the forest.
"Lord Tingfeng, it was people from the Yue Kingdom who placed the array. Their aims were to catch the beast inside." One of the men said.
"Yes. A powerful beast appeared to run away from the Yue Kingdom. They wanted to catch the beast first before anyone else." Another man said.
"A powerful beast?" Bai Tingfeng’s mind thought about the beast that was in his sister’s hand. ’Was that beast?’
"The beast had an eagle head attached to a lion’s body." The man stated.
Bai Tingfeng was surprised that he was right. It was indeed the beast that his sister brought back.
"The beast is a Commander Rank Beast." Another man added.
"Commander Rank? Are you sure about that?" Bai Tingfeng asked.
"Yes, My lord." The man nodded.
Bai Xifeng brought back a Spiritual Rank Beast, not a Commander Rank Beast.
"Guard the forest. Tell me if something happens." Bai Tingfeng said.
"Yes, My Lord." The men bowed and left the place.
Bai Tingfeng entered the room and saw Bai Xifeng still enjoying the food.
"Delicious?" Bai Tingfeng asked.
"Not bad. But this can not win against Xiao Li’s food." Bai Xifeng grinned.
"That girl is still with you?" Bai Tingfeng asked.
"Hmm..." Bai Xifeng nodded.
"She takes care of you a lot?" Bai Tingfeng asked again.
"Hmm... She protects me when I am in trouble." Bai Xifeng nodded.
"I am glad that she turned out a loyal servant for you." Bai Tingfeng said. "Oh, there are some more things that I want to see you."
"What is it?" Bai Xifeng asked.
"Can you call the beast that helped you last time?" Bai Tingfeng requested.
"Oh, sure." Bai Xifeng nodded. She began to call Gryffindor.
Gryffindor came out. Bai Tingfeng observed Gryffindor. He was now 100% sure that this beast was a Spiritual Rank Beast, not a Commander Rank Beast.
’Xifeng, why does your brother look at me like that?’ Gryffindor glanced at Bai Tingfeng.
Bai Xifeng turned to Bai Tingfeng. "Why do you look at Gryffindor like that, Big Brother?" She directly asked her big brother.
Bai Tingfeng grinned when he got caught.
"Actually, my men told me that the array was placed in the forest to catch the beast. The beast was a Commander Rank Beast. They also told me the characteristics of the beast. What they describe is the same things at your beast." Bai Tingfeng said.
"Oh, you don’t need to think about it. Gryffindor is the one they had been mentioned." Bai Xifeng asked.
"Eh? How come?" Bai Tingfeng was surprised.
"Well, he breaks through to be a Spiritual Rank Beast. He advances after we make the contract." Bai Xifeng said.
"Oh... Advance after you make the contract with him?" Bai Tingfeng was surprised.
"Hmm... My beast-taming method is different from others." Bai Xifeng made a proud face.
"Wait? What did you say?" Bai Tingfeng thought he had misheard something just now.
"My beast-taming method is different than others?" Bai Xifeng repeated the sentence.
"Xixi, you are a pharmacist." Bai Tingfeng said.
"Yes." Bai Xifeng nodded.
