"Hiss~ Yes, he’s in Continent F." Melissa finished, looking at her in confusion. "Is there a problem?"
Renee Jennings raised an eyebrow. "Aren’t you going to Continent F to find your male?"
"Hiss~ Not anymore." Melissa stared at Kaiser, her tone light and cheerful. "This snake has her eye on a new male now."
Hearing this, Renee Jennings glanced sideways at Kaiser.
The next second, Kaiser shot her an accusatory look. "Renee, I hear you’re the one who brought her here?"
"Yes, let me explain." Renee Jennings said slowly, "The plan yesterday was to let Melissa stay for a few days, then arrange to send her back to Continent F."
Kaiser glanced at Melissa, looking displeased. "She’s annoying."
Melissa wasn’t the least bit discouraged when she heard this. In fact, she grew even more excited. "Hiss~ You don’t like this snake? That’s wonderful! That just makes things more interesting for me."

Kaiser was extremely troubled. "When is she leaving?"
Before Renee Jennings could speak, Melissa jumped in. "Hiss~ This snake isn’t leaving. I’m staying right here."
’Melissa not returning to Continent F was for the best, of course. After all, repatriating her wouldn’t be easy.’
Faye Wyatt spoke up slowly. "By the way, Renee, this black mamba is an invasive species. We’re not sure how long she’ll be staying, and while she looks quite healthy, I’d still like to do a health assessment. Could you communicate with her and ask her to cooperate?"

Once she learned Melissa was willing to cooperate, Faye Wyatt immediately called in the quarantine team. With Renee Jennings’s help, they successfully completed a clinical examination and took samples for testing.
"Sweetie, thank you for your cooperation." Faye Wyatt even patted Melissa’s head before she left.
Melissa’s round pupils shone as she gazed at her. "Hiss~ This snake likes this human. She calls me ’sweetie’."

She looked at Kaiser apologetically. "Sorry. I had no idea she was this kind of snake."

Seeing this, Renee Jennings got straight to the point. "Actually, I came here today because I need your help with something."
"Hm? What is it that a snake can help with?" Kaiser was a little curious.
Melissa slithered closer. "Hiss~ This snake can help, too!"
"Thanks, but Kaiser’s help is all I need. You just get some rest here." After speaking, Renee Jennings took out the black leather bag Kaiser was familiar with.

Renee Jennings took Kaiser to the parking lot, got in her car, and unzipped the leather bag to let him get some air. Then she took out her phone to make a call.
"Michelle, I’m all set over here. You guys can watch for a little longer, then head back to the car."
Seeing her hang up, Kaiser poked his head out and asked, "Renee, what do you need this snake’s help with?"
Renee Jennings’s lips curved into a smile. "There’s a shameless old woman at the house. I want your help scaring her away."

"This snake understands," Kaiser nodded. "No biting, just scaring."
"Exactly." Renee Jennings’s eyes crinkled in a grin. "This is why I say we have such good chemistry."

Five minutes later, Michelle Fuller arrived with Zane and Jasmine, clutching a few sticks of tanghulu.
Renee Jennings rolled down the window and said softly, "Michelle, have Zane and Jasmine sit in the back. Kaiser is in the front passenger seat."
"Okay." Michelle Fuller helped the two little ones into the car, handed the extra stick of tanghulu to Renee Jennings, and then looked toward the leather bag on the passenger seat, speaking cautiously, "Hello, Mr. Kaiser."
Kaiser, afraid of scaring them, had already retracted his head into the bag before they got in. Hearing her voice, he now poked his head out quietly.
He flicked his tongue lightly. "Hello."
Zane and Jasmine stared at Kaiser with wide, shining dark eyes, not even blinking.
"Auntie, is this your friend?" Jasmine asked in a small voice.
"He is." Renee Jennings looked back at them and smiled. "His name is Kaiser. You and your brother can call him Uncle Kaiser."
Jasmine held the tanghulu in one little hand and waved with the other, saying in a childish voice, "Hello, Uncle Kaiser. Would you like some tanghulu?"
