c1135: 582: Shadow of the Azure Dragon (Part 2)

The others’ expressions shifted subtly as they exchanged glances, as if they had come to an understanding.

"Today, there’s only one goal, and that’s to thoroughly humiliate this motley crew," Heins said in a deep voice. "Make them understand that the Three Civilizations will always press down upon them."

Everyone nodded in agreement.

"It’s about time. Who’s going first?" Costate glanced around.

"I will go first..." Nokes said coolly. "I recall that Anduin and the Azure Dragon seem to be on good terms."

"Haha..." Heins laughed loudly and viciously said, "Exactly, we need to pick a typical target."

When Nokes’s figure floated out of the ship’s cabin.

Onboard the Silent Night, all eyes converged on Anduin.

There wasn’t much surprise in their eyes, but rather a trace of sympathy.

The name Star Gate Master was at least well-known and usually didn’t cause much friction with others. Yet now, he had to face a battle he was destined to lose.

Meanwhile, a few life forms who had conflicts and friction with Anduin couldn’t help but feel a bit schadenfreude, not considering themselves part of a collective.

Noticing the astonished gazes of everyone, Anduin remained expressionless, and his virtual projection disappeared as he flew out from his vehicle.

In the center, a vast area had been cleared. The asteroid belt swirled, with a few barren planets scattered about, almost the size of an entire star system, enough to support a duel between the two.

The ships that had managed to arrive here quickly were not ordinary, already setting up advanced observation instruments, full of anticipation.

"You really should concede directly to avoid further humiliation." Nokes’s spiritual fluctuation surged, his expression calm.

"You think you’re sure to win?" Anduin sneered.

"What else?" Nokes responded by clashing his fists, a pair of ice-blue arm armor appeared, covering his arms.

At the same time, ice crystal armor grew wildly from his pores, the white mist he exhaled spreading feverishly, turning the scattered asteroid belt into countless floating ice prisms.

When his right foot shattered the void, web-like ice cracks spread rapidly.

He attacked as he spoke.

Anduin, considered a "mage," had no way to fight off a "warrior" who had gotten in his face.

This kind of combat with restricted space and time was naturally a disadvantage for Anduin.

At the window of an inconspicuous spacecraft stood a silver-white mecha, where Li Ming was possessing.

Using this method, almost no one could detect him as he fully assessed the situation on the ground, "Let’s first see what’s going on..."

Boom!

The distance between them was already short, and Nokes drew close with a raised fist.

Anduin’s heart skipped a beat as a star pattern staff appeared in his hand, a glow surrounded his body, and a magic robe covered him entirely.

The hastily deployed energy shield got struck by the ice fist, and the splintering fragments were suspended in the air, condensing into a rain of ice spines, which speared through Anduin’s body, yet only his phantom shattered.

"Merely a pawn for the Azure Dragon, do you really think associating with it is an honor?"

Though Nokes’s strike missed, he was not surprised, and his spiritual fluctuation didn’t hide.

Despite his arrogant words, his face showed no expression, faithfully carrying out his "oppression" task.

Even those watching from a distance could hear and couldn’t help but discuss why this incident was connected to the Azure Dragon.

Subsequently, Nokes thrust his arms into the void, pulling out two ice dragons tens of thousands of meters long from the rift, sweeping them across, the extreme blue-white frost fog engulfing the area like a giant beast.

Nokes’s attack was rapid and fierce.

Anduin hastily responded, emanating a multitude of crisscross energy lines, but they were submerged and frozen into the ice fog.

He wiped a bloody streak from his mouth with his left hand and pressed it against the frozen rune array, where the reversed spell beneath the ice suddenly converted the gathered extreme cold into eerie blue flames!

Nokes was about to deliver another blow when burning ice cracks appeared beneath his feet, the reversed cold energy traveling along the ice armor’s meridians backfired upward.

Anduin shattered the frozen staff, the red rune in the core fused into the ice flames.

The entire battlefield of ice fog began to resonate, and Nokes’s ice crystal armor uncontrollably exploded, each fragment turning into a barb piercing back into his true body.

When Anduin tore away the last frozen curse seal, the accumulated extreme cold energy transformed into a frost giant sword, poised to impale Nokes onto the ice throne emerging in the background.

Bang!

Nokes’s pupils shrank into needles, his body rapidly expanded, muscles nearly like molten lava, with dense crimson-gold lines cracking across the skin’s surface.

Flames of crimson gold erupted from his pores as he entered the liberation form.

"This..." Anduin was startled in astonishment, "How could he evolve to the opposite extreme?"

Nokes shattered the ice throne underfoot, and the exploding ice shards traced a burning arc through the vacuum.

With a swing of his right fist, the space ahead cracked like glass, shattering the incoming frost giant sword piece by piece.

"Though Nokes is a Frost Giant, his evolution path doesn’t just strengthen the ice attribute. Assuming he only excels in ice attributes... hehe..." Schmidt smirked.

Others were also surprised, with an underlying caution. Costate’s brow furrowed slightly, then he said, "Who’s next? Get ready, it’s about to end."

"Nokes actually hid this one move," Anatoli frowned, a noticeable silence in the cabin as they exchanged looks—this indeed was the heritage of the Three Civilizations.

The spectators were naturally thrilled; such a grand scene, dazzling them, left them in awe.
