c389: 208: Deceive, then Keep Deceiving_2

Ulrich said indifferently, "You seem very innocent?"

"Not at all." Sandro suddenly came to his senses and pointed at Li Ming, "It was clearly you and Rob who agreed to work together, inside and out. Now you want to pull yourself out of this? Isn’t that a bit too simplistic?"

Inside and out? Ulrich’s brow twitched violently, and Theo also looked up.

Li Ming did not refute and frankly admitted, "Yes, I indeed made an agreement with him."

But then he gritted his teeth, staring coldly at the corpse on the ground: "But who knew you idiots would handle things so incompetently."

"You wanted to use their help to escape from here?" Ulrich asked, a murderous intent flickering in his eyes.

He had thought that the other party would wait until the thing was fixed before showing his true colors, but it turned out he had underestimated him; he intended to run as soon as he got his hands on it.

Sandro looked at Ulrich and spoke bluntly: "There’s no need to hide it now, the [Material Reorganization Machine] is in your hands, right? You wanted him to fix it, but this guy was holding back, planning to grab the thing and run off."

"That’s right." Li Ming admitted, without evasion.

Ulrich frowned, the other party was too calm, showing no hint of nervousness even facing three A-level life forms.

It wasn’t to say that they were considered insignificant, but it wasn’t far off.

"But you haven’t left. Did the plan not succeed?" Theo suddenly interjected.

"Because a fucking A-level life form popped out of nowhere!" Li Ming’s voice suddenly heightened, "That guy messed up all my plans, and I barely survived by fighting with all my might."

He cursed.

"A-level life form?" Ulrich subconsciously frowned.

"Yes, a very powerful A-level life form," Li Ming said grimly. "Not a human, but a member of the Four-Armed Nite Clan, black as coal, enveloped in black thunder, even claimed that this thing should have been taken long ago."

As Ulrich listened to Li Ming’s description, he initially only frowned slightly, instinctively incredulous, but soon his face changed drastically, as scenes buried deep in his heart for many years emerged.

That was when he was still following Star King Monroe, he had witnessed a great battle, unknown A-level life forms from the depths of interstellar space came and confronted Monroe.

And the opponent was the Four-Armed Nite Clan, with black thunder swirling wildly in interstellar space, causing even Lord Star King Monroe to be defeated.

He is now an A-level life form, and later, after inquiring around, he guessed the identity of the opponent, an A-level life form from the Star Abyss Empire.

Theo frowned, his expression slightly changing as he heard the final part of the conversation.

Although he had not witnessed that battle, he knew that those who killed Star King Monroe’s group were still searching for the [Material Reorganization Machine].

That was also why he had long suspected that the device was in Ulrich’s possession but had no plans to claim it.

Such a thing could easily bring major trouble; even a while ago, when some people from the Star Abyss Empire approached him, he pretended to know nothing.

"What nonsense, what A-level life form?" But Sandro, unaware of all this, scoffed instead, "Stop talking nonsense, did you kill all these people? Being cornered here with no way out, are you fabricating such lies?"

"Are you treating us like fools?"

After speaking, he received no response from the others; turning to look, he saw that both Ulrich and Theo appeared as if they were facing a formidable enemy.

"You guys don’t actually believe him, do you?" Sandro felt it was absurd.

All these parties coming together today to take action? That was way too far-fetched.

"All these people were killed by him?" Ulrich didn’t pay him any attention and instead asked.

"Some of them, maybe." Li Ming answered vaguely.

"Where’s the thing?" Ulrich pressed, "Including all the missing items here."

"That guy robbed it, put it all into his folded space," Li Ming said coldly. "Except for the [Material Reorganization Machine] and the Star Core Fragment."

These two items were too high in quality; if placed inside subspace, they might very likely pierce through the folded space, so they could only be carried.

He cursed vehemently, "I’ve never seen someone so greedy, even the repair materials were taken, leaving nothing behind."

Ulrich stood in place, lacking other corroborations, he found it hard to believe, yet he hesitated.

Theo remained silent.

"Do you really believe his words?" Sandre found it hard to believe, "It’s definitely all his doing."

"Escaped from some A-level life form? If that’s the case, let me see it again."

Li Ming’s expression tightened as he glanced lightly at him, "Idiot."

"Seeking death!" Sandro’s fury was instantly ignited, and a terrifying heat energy burst forth. Ulrich’s eyes flickered slightly, but he did not stop him.

"Wait..." Theo’s hand rested on Sandro’s shoulder.

"This is Ulrich’s territory, want to make an even bigger scene? Let’s step outside and talk."

Sandro eyed the two suspiciously, finally catching on, "Are you guys hiding something from me?"

The two did not respond, and Ulrich, expressionless, flew off with Li Ming.

"Azure Dragon?" Cassis looked at Li Ming being pulled up in surprise,

Surrounded by numerous Raiders, there was a burst of noise, and Ulrich issued an order; without his permission, no one was allowed to leave.

"Is that the Mechanical Azure Dragon? He’s still alive?"

"It seems he’s suffered severe injuries. It’s my first time seeing a Mechanical Person; doesn’t seem anything special."

"Do you think otherwise, that a Mechanical person always has mechanical claws on their back?"
