c122: She Knows?

Chapter 122: Chapter 122 She Knows? "But he is not at school. He is at an internet cafe right now. He will not leave his gaming easily."

"Then it is up to you to be convincing unless you wish to carry his punishment along with yours." I threatened. He gets even more skittish at the sound of that. He clears his throat and restarts the call. "Trevor?"

"Yeah?"

"I saw your sister and Hunter going to that old library just now. I think that’s their new make out spot."

"What? That asshole!" The boy blasted. Sounds like that is a button pusher for him.

"Did I not warn him to stay away from her? I also told Veronica to stay away from him too!"

"They are together right now. They must have been since when you left."

"Thanks for letting me know, man. I’m on my way there right now. I swear, I will break that assholes bones! And cut off his damn tool and shove it into his mouth since he can’t keep it to himself!" He hangs up. I keep staring dead at the guy in front of me. The last fleck of color evaporates, making his face become deathly pale.

"He will be here any minute now. He really hates Hunter."

"Better hope so for your sake. Because I did not tell you to include anybody else!" Fucking great! Now I feel even worse. No wonder she was so mad.

I rake my fingers through my hair and pull at it. I kick at one of the old books cabinet, stomping on it repeatedly to clear out some of my rage. Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! Every nerve in my body feels like it is made out of live wires that are making contact with each other right now. The words comes to me again, "He said he sold her swimwear." I state, going closer and looming over his hunched frame. That is the part in all this that is setting me off the most. He shudders, becoming more and more frightened. Good.

"Yes! Some of the guys here had asked him to sell it to them. But he refused. He did not even borrow it to me when I asked. I too I’m surprised that he—"

"What did you plan to use it for?" It better not be what I am thinking.

"N—Nothing b—bad! I just wanted to. . .wank with it a lit—" I throw a punch on his damn face. He falls to the dirty floor, cleaning it with his clothes. I grabbed a hold of him and punched him again, holding control of my anger so I will not end up killing him or making him pass out. I don’t have the time to sit around until he wakes up if that happens. They need to fucking find a way to fix what they did. I did not ask him to go this far.

"You went way out of line!" I growl, hitting him again. And again.

"Okay, let me get this straight now." I laugh slightly, I point at the other guy with the baseball bat I am holding. He moves back in more fright.

"You got her swimwear and sold it off to someone on discord, and you have already sent it via delivery service to this guy, that is what you’re saying?" He severally nods.

"Use your words."

"Yes." He whimpers. I laugh out again, loud and hard this time. "I could’ve tried to get it back but it would be impossible." He too is now stammering.

"How?"

"I don’t know the guy. I have never met him and I do not know what he looks like. We use a drop off point. An old, abandoned bus station. He must have gotten it by now." I stop laughing when I hear him say that. So that means it will be difficult to get back.

This had started with me. But I refuse to accept that it is my fault. It is theirs, and their gonna pay.

Looking at them again, I ask with a grin. "How about a swimming lesson?"

GWENETH

"Why do you look so glum? Is anything the matter?"

"No. Nothing." I respond flatly to mom, changing my expression to seem less bleak. I had skipped the rest of school hours after my confrontation with Lamont and went home. I did not expect to find the house occupied by Mom.

She said that she had come home early with a lie excuse of a headache because some of her colleagues have been overdoing it. So she also decided to. I also told her that I came early because I wasn’t feeling well. Now I am forced into arranging jigsaw puzzles with her instead of sleeping and imagining that today never happened.

She must have a lot weighing on her mind again because she only does this to clear her mind which is why she likes it. I had asked her what it was and she told me nothing. She hides her troubles and keep them to herself. I take after her very well in that.

"Are you and that guy having problems?" She asks with rare worry and concern.

"No."

"Then what is it? Do not tell me it is nothing because I can clearly see that it is not. It is your schoolmates isn’t it?" I raise my eyes at her. "Of course I can tell. You don’t get gloomy and cheerless for no reason.

There is always one thing or the other that keeps you excited each day. It is either those gay novels, or a new song. What happened to them? I do not think it is because you ran out."

"I just. . .I want to focus on studying and I am pushing those things aside for now."

"Bullshit." She scoffs, smiling. "You have gotten good at lying. Which is good.

They say lies are sins but they are actually protective walls.

Keep at it and get better. But just keep in mind that I will always be able to tell."

"How?"

"Your eyes. The eyes are very expressive. You cannot conceal something completely. It just takes someone who is a part of you to see it. You have been like this a lot ever since you started that school."

Wait, so she could tell all this while?
