Under the sunlight, the steel battlements of the Star Tower Spaceport gleamed with a cold metallic luster, their outlines growing clearer.
At the Port
Mechanical arms slowly withdrew after finishing the final refueling and inspection of the Dreamweaver.
It disengaged its docking clamps, engines fired up, and thrusters flared at the rear, propelling it out of the port.
Once it had moved some distance away, a Geller Field shimmered around the hull, and the space ahead distorted into a Warp portal.
In the next instant—
As soon as the Dreamweaver's prow touched the portal, it vanished from the area.
Inside the ship, in the Savior's private quarters—
Outside the transparent dome, a gentle rain fell upon the miniature garden, the patter against the greenery creating a soothing sound.
"This simulated weather system is pretty nice…"
Eden stood at the entrance to the tiny indoor garden, watching the rain. He nodded in approval.
The technology came from that Golden Age farm, capable of artificially producing weather patterns over various ranges.
Mainly used for agriculture.
But all new technology in the domain underwent Eden's personal test, so the Agriculture Institute had installed a small version here.
That way, even aboard the Dreamweaver, he could enjoy the changing of seasons.
After watching for a bit, he drew the curtain and returned to the soft bed.
"So comfortable… The sound of rain really helps me sleep."
He pulled a velvet blanket over himself, slipping on an eye mask, looking rather at ease.
His tone, however, carried a gritted edge.
He was only pretending to enjoy it. In truth, his main body was still stuck on the Blackstone Throne, getting zapped by psychic arcs.
Even his…manhood was in pain.
"Damn demons… I'll see you all brought to justice soon!"
Eden grumbled that once he handled the Orks on Kanda Star and raised them, he'd dispatch them into the Webway. Then the demons were done for.
He glanced at the time—another half-day to reach Kanda Star aboard the Dreamweaver.
Gritting his teeth, he injected himself with a sedative powerful enough to knock out a Space Marine, then collapsed into sleep.

Kanda Star, The Forest
The sun blazed overhead.
Dense smoke billowed, and the clang of metal rang ceaselessly.
All around, enormous trees had been cut down and turned into crude huts.
Inside one hut, a young Ork snored away, drooling and shaking the walls with its snores.
Seemingly dreaming of something, it grabbed a dozing snotling nearby and shoved it into its mouth.
"Waaah!"
The snotling woke in terror, wailing as it struggled to escape. It couldn't break free.
Boom—
Something kicked the hut from outside, smashing it.
The Ork youth was yanked out by a pair of burly hands and beaten on the head.
???
Dazed, it woke up, roared in anger—only to get kicked flat again.
A scarred Ork veteran, its hide laced with imposing scars, growled, "Stop lazing about… Gotta fight!"
The moment it heard that, the Ork youth grabbed a stone axe, cheering excitedly.
"Waaaagh—"
Soon, the entire Ork camp was roaring.
They were heading off to attack the human city!
That assault had been planned for last night, but everyone overslept, so it was postponed to this afternoon…
...
Inside the Boss Hut
A massive, three-meter-tall Ork sat on a throne cobbled together from a digger machine. Its body was all rippling muscle, wearing a necklace strung with countless teeth and clad in scraps of construction machinery as armor.
Most striking was a huge yellow metal claw.
Using that formidable weapon, it had become Warlord of the tribe—"Urus Steelclaw."
