From material to spiritual sublimation.
The Tree Spirit couldn’t help but marvel, no wonder the prefix of the Mother Tree can be associated with ’civilization’. Perhaps it’s because of this aura’s presence.
The only pity is that this power affects the Dream Plant Fairies the most. Even though they have inherent knowledge inheritance, they are still as pure as blank paper, able to easily digest inherent knowledge under the influence of spirit light and gain insights from it.
For the Tree Spirit or humans, the spirit light of the Civilization’s Mother Tree has little impact, as they have long established a complete set of self-values.
In the face of this spirit light, they are more like observers, able to infer other things from one fact, but not easily influenced.
Even so, the Tree Spirit still benefits greatly, after all, searching for a non-human civilization isn’t difficult, but witnessing the birth of a new civilization is not so easy. In the outside world, any new civilization is a coincidence of time and place.
The Tree Spirit observed for a long time before finally withdrawing its gaze.
At this moment, Angel spoke up.
However, Angel didn’t immediately ask the Tree Spirit’s opinion on the Civilization’s Mother Tree but rather popped a different question: "Tree Spirit Master, the small experiment I mentioned earlier, has there been any results?"
The Tree Spirit, still immersed in the magnificence and breadth of the Civilization’s Mother Tree, came to his senses after a while and nodded to Angel: "There are results; it’s the main consciousness entering the dream."
The Tree Spirit’s answer caused Angel’s eyes to dim slightly.
The small experiment he mentioned was unrelated to the Civilization’s Mother Tree but rather was about when the Tree Spirit left the Wilderness of Dreams. Angel wanted the Tree Spirit to investigate if it was the main consciousness entering the dream?
The Tree Spirit’s true body is in the Mirror World, but its spirit has many avatars, and these avatars have a certain fragment of consciousness.
For example, the big tree at the entrance of the ruins where Angel was located was actually the Tree Spirit’s avatar; there’s also a Tree Spirit avatar in the Star Pond Ruins.
The one entering the Wilderness of Dreams was the Tree Spirit avatar from the Star Pond Ruins.
Angel wanted to know whether the Tree Spirit entering the Wilderness of Dreams was its main consciousness or an avatar consciousness?
If it was an avatar consciousness, that would mean the Tree Spirit could not only connect to the real world but also use avatar consciousness to link to the Wilderness of Dreams.
This would mean the Tree Spirit had built a bridge of consciousness communication between reality and the Wilderness of Dreams.
Regrettably, though the Tree Spirit used an avatar, it was still the main consciousness that entered the Wilderness of Dreams.
This meant the previous assumption was invalid.
This made Angel a little disappointed, but as the Tree Spirit continued speaking, a light sparkled in Angel’s eyes again.
"Are you worried about emergencies occurring in reality that I can’t handle promptly? For instance, the matter of the live line?" The Tree Spirit smiled and said, "Rest assured, there’s no need to worry about this. Although I entered with the main consciousness, some avatars hold fragments of consciousness, and these fragments supervise everything in reality."
"Although these consciousness fragments can’t directly communicate with the main consciousness in the Wilderness of Dreams, they will detect when something unexpected happens outside. At the same time, my main consciousness will receive some vague feedback."
Simply put, it’s a power of having a feeling.
Tree Spirit: "Previously, when Sanders came to me in reality and told me he was going to leave temporarily to seek Sumishe, my consciousness fragments noticed it, and the main consciousness in the Wilderness of Dreams also got some vague feedback."
"Although the specific information still needs to be confirmed back in reality, I can still receive feedback and not worry about dangers in reality not being handled in time."
The Tree Spirit misunderstood what Angel was concerned about, thinking he was worried about dangers occurring in reality, which is why he spoke these words.
However, after hearing these words, Angel indeed let out a sigh of relief.
Although there’s a slight gap between this and Angel’s vision of directly communicating between the main consciousness and consciousness fragments, being able to achieve a certain degree of vague feedback is quite impressive.
At least, there’s no need to worry about missing things in reality.
Furthermore, if in the future the Tree Spirit truly possesses the "Tree Civilization" Authority, he can help Jon develop more functions of the Mother Tree network and won’t neglect reality due to being immersed in the Wilderness of Dreams.
This is considered a good harvest.
However, this is still just Angel’s vision. Whether the Tree Spirit will like the Mother Tree network and whether he’s willing to invest time and effort for it remains uncertain.
While Angel’s mind was filled with thoughts, the Tree Spirit once again fixed its gaze on the towering tree in the distance.
Tree Spirit: "I wish to go and touch the Civilization’s Mother Tree."
Angel nodded, directly manipulating the swirling wind to enshroud themselves in mist, taking the Tree Spirit to fly near the trunk of the Civilization’s Mother Tree.
There were no branches or leaves here, and the nearest living beings were the Dream Plant Fairies’ embryonic cradles hanging several hundred meters away on the tree wall.
The Tree Spirit looked at the trunk before it and slowly pressed its forehead against it.
The moment its brow touched the trunk of the Mother Tree, all the branches and leaves of the Mother Tree shook slightly, and the many Dream Plant Fairies on the branches felt it.
However, they didn’t notice anything unusual and merely thought the wind was a bit strong.
After a moment, the Tree Spirit slowly stepped back and returned to Angel’s side.
"What did you feel, Tree Spirit Master?" Angel curiously inquired.
The Tree Spirit shook its head: "The Civilization’s Mother Tree has not formed a spirit. Its consciousness, akin to world consciousness, is a generalized consciousness of gathered fragments, making it hard to gain any response from it. However, it’s not entirely without gain; when in contact with it, I felt a sense of being one with heaven and earth, which is very interesting and wonderful."
While the Tree Spirit was expressing its sentiments, it didn’t notice the peculiar look in Angel’s eyes.
The Tree Spirit assumed there was no particular sensation, but Angel knew that when the Tree Spirit touched the Civilization’s Mother Tree, in his Mind Space, the light representing Tree Civilization on the Ability Tree was swaying incessantly, as if eager to hand over the authority to the Tree Spirit.
If it weren’t for the inherent laws of the Ability Tree, the Tree Civilization might indeed orchestrate a drama bypassing Angel to grant divine authority directly.
This alarmingly high level of compatibility caused Angel to be shaken once more.
Indeed, only between great trees can there be such a harmonious resonance.
"Although this time I didn’t receive much feedback, I have a method here that could allow for a deeper connection with the essence of the Mother Tree. I wonder if the Tree Spirit Master would be interested in experiencing it?" Angel, seeing the Tree Spirit’s regretful expression, had a glint of mystery in his eyes.
Tree Spirit: "What method?"
"Mother Tree Network."
