c2465: 2446: The Death of 01

"Shura?" A blush floated across the little face of the pink octopus. "Do you want to date me?"

The Observer glared at him coldly. "I’m not your master, don’t act crazy in front of me."

Polo Ye squinted his bright gem-like eyes. "Looks like you don’t want to date me, then why are you contracting the space so much?"

As soon as the words fell, the space that was available contracted once again. This time, the contraction was even larger than before.

Originally, Polo Ye maintained his stature at about ten meters high to bind those humans, but now the space was too small to accommodate its body. There’s no choice, it had to release those humans and then slowly shrink itself.

Polo Ye’s shrinking process was like a deflating balloon.

Emitting a poof-poof-poof sound, its body shrank rapidly at a visible speed. It returned to the petite size it had when the Observer first saw it in the Void.

In this form, with its pink color and sparkling blue gem-like eyes... one had to admit, it looked more like a doll. No wonder Gluz Deward doted on it, a lover of collecting magical creatures is either a plush lover or a doll lover.

"Shura! Shura! Don’t go too far, if you shrink me more, I’ll bite you!"

"Nonsense, do you think I want to shrink?" After speaking, the Observer’s gaze went to the Mysterious Fruit in the distance, the implication was clear. — I’m not shrinking you on purpose, it’s the disorderly rhythm forcing it.

Since the Observer said this, Polo Ye, who sought "shelter," naturally couldn’t continue messing around. However, Polo Ye was still indignant because he initially thought the Observer couldn’t resist the attraction and wanted to reduce the contact area when the space contracted.

But later, after thinking carefully, if there was truly external force coercing, the Observer should have shown some change in his aura, right? Not saying he should weaken, but at least the energy body should exhibit some fluctuation.

Polo Ye’s sapphire eyes weren’t just for show; they could see the lights of the energy body within creatures. The brighter the light, the more abundant the other’s energy body.

The Observer’s energy light cluster within was bright and full from start to finish, with no fluctuations at all.

Clearly, there was no consumption of energy light, yet he actively contracted the space, blatantly fooling it!

Polo Ye was quite furious, but under a roof, it had to hold back.

Fortunately, it had now shrunk its size, preventing it from being suffocated, but if the contraction continued, it might be a problem.

While Polo Ye was sulking, the Observer was actually helpless too.

He didn’t want to shrink the space either, but had to. Because it’s not what he deliberately wanted to do, he discovered Angel’s green patterned Domain Field was rolling inward.

Upon first noticing the inward roll of the green patterned Domain Field, the Observer could only follow suit to avoid Polo Ye detecting the clues.

Angel’s green patterned Domain Field wants to shrink to what size, he must follow along precisely.

At present, the Observer couldn’t see any sign of Angel stopping, so he had no choice but to compress the space where one could stand with grit teeth.

Later, even when Polo Ye shrank his size, he felt a bit unsteady.

Clearly, Polo Ye still could choose to use an ability similar to the Shapeshifting Technique and shrink again. However, until the last moment, it was unwilling to use its transformation ability because when Lord of the City descends later, it wouldn’t want to descend in a mini form, that would be too impolite.

To make the limited space less crowded and to give Lord of the City space to descend, Polo Ye’s gaze turned to the three humans not far away, a blue glow emanating from his eyes.

These three Wizards were indeed pitiable, having just been forcibly read their memories by Polo Ye, they were still in a dazed state and were forced together again. Now, once more, they were targeted by Polo Ye.

Though Polo Ye didn’t say anything, the cold gaze made its intentions clear.

— It’s your turn to make space.

The faces of the three Wizards immediately changed, and in their despair, one Wizard suddenly spoke, "Sir, I know the Shapeshifting Technique!"

The other two Wizards moved, also expressing that they knew the Shapeshifting Technique.

Polo Ye initially thought about driving them away but reconsidered and thought that shapeshifting was actually a decent choice. And so, Polo Ye finally released their energy constraints.

When the Magic Vortex was reconnected with the outside world, the two Wizards obediently constructed a Shapeshifting Technique model in Mind Space.

While the Witch named "Diluni," although her mouth spoke of using the Shapeshifting Technique, she actually bit her silver teeth, energy boiled internally, and with a thunderous bang, her physical body exploded.

After the flesh died, Diluni’s soul quickly floated out of the blood and flesh.

At the moment Diluni’s soul emerged, her expression wasn’t at all confused, there was even a hint of joy.

Because she senses... senses that the door to the Quest World is right in front of her. Although there was nothing in front of her, she just knew that as long as she takes a step forward, she can enter the Quest World.

Previously, the Plane Corridor was sealed, and she thought even the door to the Quest World was closed. Now it seems, it was not the case.

Although being a soul in the Quest World isn’t much better, at least her consciousness is preserved. If she can find an opportunity in the Quest World, she might even be able to descend into the real world as a soul entity, although very difficult.

Diluni didn’t step forward immediately but gently tossed two buttons containing the Power of Space behind her.

These two buttons housed all of Diluni’s possessions.

They floated between the Observer and Polo Ye.

Diluni said nothing, simply uttering a gentle "Thank you."

Then turned and stepped through the door invisible to others, becoming another Wizard to actively step into the Quest World’s door today.

Others’ thoughts weren’t known, but being controlled by Polo Ye, 01 felt exhausted.

He chose this timing for closure, precisely hoping that when he’s no match for Phantom Spirit City’s Tracker, he could walk the Quest World’s path. For this, he spent a considerable amount asking about the time the Quest World arrives in the Southern Domain.

But now, the irony is, he wants to walk this path but is pinned down by Polo Ye.

Instead, it has become convenient for other Wizards.

Clearly, they should be grateful to me, not anyone else.

As 01 bitterly mocked himself, Polo Ye gently kicked the two buttons Diluni left in mid-air and gave them to the Observer. "This Witch was decisive... it’s yours."

The space artifacts left by Diluni were obvious — one for Polo Ye, one for the Observer.
