After Asaz finished speaking on his own, he noticed Angel’s strange stare, finally reacting to what he had said. A bit embarrassed, he replied, "I... I seem to have talked too much."
Feeling a bit shy, Asaz placed the freshly brewed milk tea in front of Angel, bowed to Angel and Sanders, and quickly returned to his spot at the bar.
Only after Asaz had moved away did Angel speak: "Asaz seems to be getting along well with that devil gentleman."
Sanders raised an eyebrow: "Probably only you would think that."
"What I meant by ’getting along well’ was not emotionally. At least it’s harmonious, right?" Then Angel shifted the topic slightly: "Speaking of which, it’s surprising that Asaz managed to apply for a Log-in Device. Did Lianna approve it for him?"
It should be noted that, currently, even members within the Barbarian Cave don’t have enough Log-in Devices. Angel is somewhat surprised that Asaz managed to get one.
"He’s using Greya’s Log-in Device."
"Huh? Greya hasn’t logged in?"
Angel remembered that Greya went to the Dream Plant Fairy’s domain to ask for a Golden Apple. So why would she suddenly hand over her Log-in Device to Asaz?
Angel pondered for a moment and used God’s View to look around the mother tree, surprisingly finding that the leader-level Treant who bore the Golden Apple had barren branches; the golden, glittering fruit that used to hang on the high branch was gone.
Could it be that Greya managed to get the Golden Apple?
It’s important to know that the Golden Apple is also very significant to the Treants.
And given Greya’s strength in the Wilderness of Dreams, she definitely couldn’t deal with the Treants.
If Greya didn’t use force to obtain it, then what method did she use? Could it be that the Treants really mistook Greya for a Treant due to her transformation after being poisoned, and gave it to her?
Curious, Angel infused his consciousness into the mother tree to investigate thoroughly.
After discovering the truth, Angel’s expression was slightly strange.
Greya actually used the protective coloration concocted from poisonous mushrooms to deceive a Treant and snag a Golden Apple. After getting the Golden Apple, Greya immediately returned to New City, hid the Golden Apple, and hurried offline, never logging in again.
Looks like Greya is worried about her deceit being uncovered and the Treants coming after her.
No wonder Greya hasn’t logged in recently and handed over the Log-in Device to Asaz. She’s likely hiding from the Treants.
Greya’s maneuver was quite adept... It seems she might have done similar things elsewhere, possibly to procure ingredients.
However, Greya worried too much; the Treants haven’t pursued her and even think that Greya is angry with them, leading to self-reproach.
It must be said that Treants, without the experience of deceit and complex human emotions, are quite simple-minded.
"What are you thinking about?" Sanders is puzzled seeing Angel silent for so long.
Angel snapped out of it and shook his head: "Nothing, just wondering why Greya isn’t logging in suddenly."
Sanders doesn’t know the reason inside and can only speculate silently. Perhaps Greya’s physical body is having issues? After all, her current body isn’t her original one, often having incompatibility problems, which might lead to potential collapse if it continues.
Sanders doesn’t hope for Greya’s body to truly collapse. Thus, searching for her body needs to be expedited.
Without dwelling on Greya’s matter, Sanders returned the conversation to the main topic: "Since Tullas doesn’t need to swallow the Mirror Grudge for now, what are you planning to do next? Any thoughts?"
Angel: "Is there anywhere in the Tidal World where I’m needed?"
Sanders thought for a moment: "Not at the moment."
"Then I plan to stay on Revelation Continent for now, as I want to research the underground altars, and the abundant death aura here is suitable for studying Mirror Grudge’s abilities."
Angel always felt a bit odd about the altar in the Earth Cavern. Since there’s nothing much going on now, he wants to seize this chance to study it closely.
Sanders is aware of the altar matter; his old friend Nis is researching the stone tablet acquired from it.
"Is there any new clue regarding the Earth Cavern altar?"
Angel shook his head: "Not currently, as it’s been over ten years, and time has erased most of the clues. My plan now is to inquire Dororo and see if he can prophesy anything."
This time, Angel entered the Wilderness of Dreams not only to ask Sanders about the Mirror Grudge’s mirror space but also to find Dororo.
However, Dororo hasn’t logged in yet.
"Alright, if you need any help, feel free to contact me, or you can go to Nis." Sanders said. He’s not particularly interested in the ancient altar, but since Nis delves into the stone tablet, he might have an interest in that altar.
"Okay."
