The Power System had problems!
The Wilderness of Dreams belongs to a derivative of the Dream Realm, and in such an environment, there is absolutely no Magic Power available.
Without an environment conducive to casting, naturally, there's no way to manipulate energy! So it turns out, it's not a problem with the abilities, but rather with the external environment.
After realizing this, Angel also felt somewhat disheartened.
In that case, this “Energy Level Limitation” doesn't seem to be of much use. Could it be that only Dream Sorcerers, who can manipulate dream-related powers, have a way to control energy here?
After a moment of silence, Sanders said, “There aren't many Dream Sorcerers in the Southern Domain, and I know very little about the Dream System. Let's ask Frode, maybe he knows something.”
Angel agreed with Sanders' suggestion. Angel then hid the Principal Body of the Nightmare Domain again and exited the Wilderness of Dreams.
When they logged in again, Angel had already used the authority of the Gate of Dreams to change the entry location to the Sky Tower.
Frode was still sitting at the desk, silently contemplating how to deal with creatures of Mist of Sin, and was pleasantly surprised when he saw Angel and Sanders appear. Frode stood up, ready to ask what new abilities they had gained, but Angel spoke first, voicing his concerns.
Upon hearing about the “Energy Level Limitation” authority, Frode was initially delighted, thinking that they could now bring real-world strength into the Wilderness of Dreams.
However, after listening to Angel's explanation, he was taken aback.
Frode: “Lacking a corresponding power system?”
Angel nodded, “We're wondering, could it be that only Dream Sorcerers can utilize their full strength in the Wilderness of Dreams?”
Frode immediately shook his head, “No, even if Dream Sorcerers go into the Dream Realm, they don't solely use dream-related powers when dealing with Dream Realm creatures. They still rely on the Wizard's own power to handle things.”
Frode paused then added, “I think you may have misunderstood something.”
“The issue with the power system is not actually an issue in the Dream Realm. There's a well-known saying among Dream Sorcerers–”
“With dreams as your horse, there will be no borders in the distance.”
This also implies that the breadth and freedom of dreams exceed imagination. Otherwise, why can someone in a dream become both the Creator God of all things and turn into humble Dust.
Because dreams set no limits.
“Since dreams set no limits, there is naturally no such thing as a power system. In the Dream Realm, if you perceive energy as Telekinesis from the Hante world, it becomes controllable Telekinesis; if you treat it as the power of an Evil God from the Lofte world, then it becomes the power of an Evil God.” Frode: “Thus, Primordial Magic is the same.”
Angel pondered, “So, you're saying that our inability to manipulate energy is unrelated to the power system?”
At this point, Frode shifted his tone and shook his head, “This isn't quite right. I think your judgment is not incorrect; it probably really does relate to the power system.
Angel: “…” Then what about all that talk you just gave about 'dreams setting no limits'?
Frode explained, “What I just described mostly pertains to the Dream Realm. However, the Wilderness of Dreams is not the Dream Realm.”
“The Wilderness of Dreams, although a derivative of the Dream Realm, has its own rules, and these rules are more precise compared to the Dream Realm. Hence, I think it leans more closely toward the real world.”
“In the Wilderness of Dreams, things don't just change size arbitrarily, nor can you achieve anything by merely thinking or speaking it into existence. It possesses a chain of rules that align with its own internal logic and is almost ninety percent similar to reality.”
Otherwise, the newcomers at Originheart City wouldn't still live their lives as though they were humans.
“So, your inability to manipulate energy, according to the relatively strict rules of the Wilderness of Dreams, does indeed most likely relate to the power system.”
“Now that we know where the problem lies, solving it should be quite easy.”
At this point, both Angel and Sanders understood.
It's simply a matter of a closed loop missing an angle. To complete this angle, a corresponding power system needs to appear in the Wilderness of Dreams.
And how should it appear?
Needless to say, it's definitely related to another unknown authority.
