Sanders: “We’ve basically resolved it. The explosion did not affect the Soul Realm beneath the Corpse Forest, but these surface structures, alas, there was nothing we could do…”
Following this, Angel began to inquire about the incident, and Sanders did not conceal anything, sharing what had transpired in the Corpse Forest.
When Isabel and the others arrived at the Corpse Forest and learned the specific circumstances, they immediately began discussing solutions.
The initial plan to resolve the self-detonation of the undead composite was to place it in a planar interlayer, where its explosion could be contained without threatening the Black Castle.
However, relocating the undead composite into the planar interlayer in a short time was not easy, and opening a space rift without the aid of a Space Wizard would be highly unstable. If the undead composite exploded within, a potential collapse could turn the Black Castle into a primary target, risking total annihilation by being drawn into the rift.
This plan being unviable, they had to reconceptualize.
Given more time, perhaps they could have devised a perfect solution. But time was of the essence; the undead composite had already entered an irreversible pre-detonation state, making it difficult to find a satisfactory method on short notice.
In the end, they opted to place the undead composite into an Exile Space.
Exile Spaces are formed by Official Wizards learning the Exile Spell, capable of briefly maintaining a separate spatial dimension. Within the Exile Space, one can dispose of some Transcendent impurities, essentially serving as a garbage dump for the remnants of wizarding experiments.
An Exile Space can also temporarily store objects but requires a continuous supply of Magic Power to sustain its existence, and the amount of Magic Power needed to maintain such a space is astonishing. Hence it is far inferior to Spatial Artifacts.
In fact, Exile Spaces aren’t considered stable. The reason they still chose to put the undead composite into an Exile Space was that the space’s stability could be controlled by the amount of Magic Power the wizard was willing to expend.
But this plan also carried tremendous risk.
The wizards in the Corpse Forest each possessed an Exile Space, which raised the question of who should take on this responsibility.
Although Sanders was powerful, he was the first to be ruled out. The people of the Black Castle would actually prefer this outsider to take the risk, but they also understood that was unlikely, so no one mentioned it.
Isabel was a special case, as the body she was using was not her original one, hence she was also ruled out.
That left Kimberly and Isabella.

However, the explosions of these two undead composites were terrifying, particularly Cersebilas. Despite the support from Kimberly and Isabel, Isabella’s Exile Space was blown apart completely.
As a result, Isabella was severely injured by the Spell Backlash and ended up in her current state.
