"If I had ventured into the ruins left by the Heart of the Swarm, I wouldn’t have asked you for the manuscript on hatching Transforming Soft-bodied Insects back then." Angel replied, slightly annoyed: "I saw it in a chronicle."
The name of this chronicle is "Culori Chronicles: Volume Fourteen." Since Culori’s matters are involved with secrecy, Angel didn’t mention Culori’s name although it wasn’t an issue discussing with Nis, as there were low-skilled apprentices nearby.
"In this chronicle, there is a secret recorded. It says that in the Devil’s Sea there exists a mysterious giant beast born from the ocean but can fly, capable of influencing the energy field of the Devil’s Sea, thus incorporating the Devil’s Sea under its domain and monitoring the entire Devil’s Sea’s movements."
Nis nodded: "Yes, that should be Seathe."
Angel continued: "This giant beast was extremely powerful and occupied the Devil’s Sea for an entire era. However, later it was taken to the Phantom Spirit City by Gluz Deward... and then there wasn’t any more information."
Angel supplemented the whereabouts of Seathe, indicating it didn’t die or leave voluntarily but was taken away by a more powerful and mysterious being.
"Lord Pat, is Gluz Deward a person’s name? And Phantom Spirit City... what’s that?" The fat apprentice looked at Angel full of curiosity.
Angel: "You don’t need to know about that; after all, it’s not related to the Southern Domain."
Nis vaguely heard about Phantom Spirit City and muttered: "So that’s where Seathe went..."
Nis: "I heard that once a Magical Creature enters the Phantom Spirit City, it’s very hard to come out again. So we actually didn’t need to fear that purple giant beast, next time let’s just catch it for research."
Nis’ eyes suddenly gleamed.
Angel: "I am not familiar with Gluz Deward’s Phantom Spirit City, but as far as I know, he is extremely passionate about Magical Creatures, and even divided the magical creatures of Phantom Spirit City into levels. Seathe is currently a diamond-level citizen."
Angel implied that if Seathe senses its bloodline offspring is killed and requests Gluz Deward to handle the matter as a diamond-level citizen, Nis would surely be unable to escape. — Of course, this presumes that the purple beast is a bloodline left by Seathe.
After hearing Angel’s words, Nis felt rather sheepish: "I was just casually saying, just casually saying."
"It’s best not to let its matters within the Mist Belt get leaked." Angel said.
Angel isn’t worried about Seathe, but more about Gluz Deward... Frost initially warned him that if Gluz Deward saw Toby, given his enthusiasm for Magical Creatures, he might forcibly take him away. So, it’s best not to provoke him, and better to avoid him.
"I understand that." Nis also cast his gaze towards the other apprentices. They solemnly pledged to ensure that the existence of Seathe’s offspring remains a secret.

Reynaud remained in a dazed manner, unaffected even when the purple beast attacked, appearing somewhat foolish.
Angel looked at Nis: "What’s up with Reynaud’s condition?"
Nis: "I checked and found nothing wrong, it’s an emotional stress response. His consciousness is suppressed, and emotion has taken the dominant position."
The fat apprentice muttered: "I don’t see Reynaud having any emotional fluctuations."
Nis shot him a glare: "When emotion takes dominance, it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s anger or excitement."
After a pause, Nis addressed Angel again: "I also found one thing: Reynaud initially showed symptoms of memory loss, not because the memory was concealed, but because his consciousness split, a part was not on his soul body."
Angel: "Consciousness split? What do you mean?"
Nis: "I suspect his physical body probably retains a small fraction of consciousness."
Meaning the lost memory might be retained within the consciousness of his physical body.
This situation is actually similar to a dual personality. However, Reynaud doesn’t have a dual personality, and the retained consciousness in his body doesn’t support the formation of an independent personality.
He’s merely experiencing a separation of consciousness; the specific reason is still unknown, and it’s the first time Nis has encountered such a case.
What can be determined is that memory loss is certainly related to the separation of consciousness.
Looking at Reynaud, absentmindedly staring at the sea, Nis said: "I guess his current situation is likely influenced by the separation of consciousness."
Angel: "So is there a way to awaken him?"
