Chapter 396: Chapter 23: Higher-Dimensional Player (2) Duncan has to mark twelve coordinates in total.
These areas are distributed across the Earth and are considered otherworldly lands under the backdrop of the mythological tide. If they could be linked, it might even reverse the situation of the great tidal retreat.
For now, he has already found a node on the earth vein, located above the Ganges River basin.
"The next earth vein node should be in places like Ryukyu and Fusang."
According to Duncan’s deductions, there should be several earth vein nodes in the East, and it would need to be searched for slowly to find the exact locations.
No surprise if the Mayan Civilization in North America also has an earth vein node.
"We should be arriving at the Maldives soon."
"Consider marking a colonization point; it could be convenient for future vacations."
The Maldives is currently just a barren island with only a few indigenous people, and it has already entered the Indian Ocean. Further ahead lies what will be Sri Lanka.
At this moment, Duncan’s mind stirred.
A planetary map appeared, and upon zooming in, different geographic markers emerged on it.
—"South America of the Britain Kingdom."
—"Africa of the Spanish Kingdom."
—"Africa of the France Kingdom."
—"North America (Gellanling Island) of the Germany Kingdom."
At the top of the planet’s image is a distinct marker—Age of Discovery (Age of Exploration).
Among the many pages of countries, only the Britain Kingdom has the mark of a flame, indicating that it has activated its national ideology of ’The Empire on which the sun never sets’.
The France Empire has initiated the icon of ’Holy Roman Empire,’ but has not yet activated it.
The Monotheism has been suppressed once more.
On the world map, many dark areas are gradually lighting up bit by bit.
—Maya Civilization (Primitive Pantheism).
—Indian Civilization (Hinduism).
—African Civilization (Primitive Voodoo).
Europe has already led the original historical timeline by several hundred years. Whether Duncan likes it or not, his descendants are overpowering the entire Africa, South America, and North America, including the future regions of India. Even if he doesn’t intervene, the rising Empire on which the sun never sets would overtake the East.
Yet he still wants to interfere in the shadows, especially as the East is currently in the time point of the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms.
"Still need to see if I can find another human form."
"Better not screw it up."
Dominance by one isn’t a good thing, particularly with the increasing influence of Monotheism among the populace, whose missionary capability completely crushes Polytheism.
Here’s how it is.
The colonial points in Africa have seen quite a few Black people start believing in God over the years.
The explorers’ adventures continue.
Duncan left a divine thought mark and gently slid his fingers, quickly bringing up the projection page of the second human form in front of him.
At this moment, what emerged in the projection page was an enormous dragon’s nest, surrounded by millennium-old unmelted ice, with a magnificent divine hall beneath the cliff and at the very center stood a giant dragon statue holding a scroll. Inside the divine hall were dozens of serving Catman priests.
When the view expanded, under the perspective of God, the place where the second human form resides had become a river valley town.
Near the divine hall were many houses built by Catmen; they settled along the south of the river valley with the population having expanded to two to three thousand people, mostly refugees fleeing to the Northern Land.
—Dragon Blood Lizardmen (Dragon Vein Subspecies).
Near the small plaza close to the divine hall, there were Lizardmen guards nearly two meters tall, their scales an icy blue, appearing mighty and strong, though they were few, numbering only fifty to sixty. These were hatched by Duncan with the power of the dragon vein from sub-dragon eggs, looking much like lizard subspecies with some characteristics of sub-dragon creatures.
To the north of the river valley town lived residents of various other races, quite diverse, mostly refugees, predominantly human, but some were sub-dragons from the Black Swamp.
The Dark Elf Empire is currently at war with the High Elves and hasn’t expanded further into the Land of Bitter Cold for now.
The entire Giant Dragon Territory has a population of about five thousand people, occasionally receiving caravans from other places arriving in the Northern Land, bringing with them some refugees.
A series of heavy footsteps echoed.
With somewhat apprehensive gazes from the caravan guards, several massive giants appeared in the distance.
They were clad in primitive beast skins, glanced at the human caravan, and headed toward the divine hall of the Catmen. These giants brought along many furs and also whale oil, seal skin, walrus ivory, among others. They piled their fur goods outside the divine hall, and soon a Catman priest appeared.
He waved his hand towards the back, and Catmen immediately brought out a variety of large tools, including fishing nets, harpoons, metal tools, and various miscellaneous items.
There was even a small boat.
The giants carried away the goods, including the small boat, without even glancing at the human merchants.
They don’t trust outsiders and have only traded with Catmen for years, bartering goods.
Outside the river valley town were three enormous mammoths.
After the giants responsible for the trade returned, the giant caravan of eight started their return journey. The leading giant had a bald head, and beside him was a young Frost Giant child watching the distance with curiosity and longing.
Unlike the giants of yesteryear, this generation was more familiar with the Catmen and knew of the river valley town, as they traded once every three months.
