The Rock Giants roared, their voices shaking the heavens.
Shien’s ears rang, almost deafened by the sound.
“That’s what they said,” Shafney said, seemingly amused by Shien’s reaction, a mischievous glint in her eyes.
“You two oafs,” Shien said, rolling his eyes and picking his ears.
The Rock Giants were instantly enraged.
“Who are you?”
“You don’t seem to be a demon. How dare you approach Master Shafney so closely? You deserve to die!”
A terrifying aura erupted from the two Rock Giants. It felt like a heavy mountain descending, pressing down on Shien’s shoulders.
However, almost instantly, Shien’s shoulders returned to normal, his expression calm and composed.
“Eh?” The two Rock Giants were surprised. They hadn’t expected this seemingly small human to withstand their combined aura.
Ignoring their reaction, Shien looked at Shafney.
“You brought me here just to have them intimidate me?” he asked, his gaze towards Shafney turning unfriendly.
“If I wanted to intimidate you, I would have done so myself, why bother going through such lengths?” Shafney seemed to enjoy Shien’s hostility, nodding in satisfaction, her smile unwavering.
“That’s true…” Shien agreed, relaxing his brow.
The two Rock Giants, however, changed their expressions, their aura intensifying instead of receding.
The reason was simple.
(Master Shafney seems pleased…?)
(Does Her Highness like this human?)
As these thoughts crossed their minds, jealousy flashed in their rock-like eyes.
They couldn’t help but unleash their full aura, suppressing Shien.
Feeling the increasing pressure, Shien frowned again.
He looked at the two Rock Giants, a cold glint in his eyes.
“…!” The Rock Giants froze, as if targeted by a terrifying beast.
“You…”
“He…”
They looked at Shien with uncertainty and suspicion.
Under their gazes, Shien gradually suppressed his surging magic power.
“What are you trying to do?” he asked, his tone unfriendly, clearly directed at Shafney.
Shafney had been watching from the side, not intervening, simply observing with amusement.
This gloating attitude irritated Shien.
Shafney, however, looked innocent.
“I didn’t order them to do this,” she explained pitifully.
Unfortunately, Shien no longer fell for her act.
“…I told you not to play with me just because you find it amusing, right?”
Shien took a deep breath, glanced at Shafney, then turned and walked away.
Seeing this, the feigned innocence and pitiful look on Shafney’s face disappeared.
“Wait,” she said, quickly grabbing Shien’s hand, “Alright, my bad. I couldn’t help but tease you, but I didn’t expect you to be so short-tempered, almost like Airi. No wonder you two get along.”
“Sorry, I have a bad temper,” Shien said, quickly withdrawing his hand as his heart raced.
The Succubus’s hand was incredibly smooth and soft, the sensation shocking, making Shien feel a tingling sensation, as if he had been electrocuted.
As expected of a Succubus, everything about her was incredibly seductive and alluring.
Shien was truly worried that if he stayed with such a poisonous woman, he would unconsciously fall for her.
(Could this be her goal?)
Shien looked at Shafney with vigilance.
His wary gaze made Shafney chuckle.
“See? I told you, you and my little Airi are a perfect match! Even your wary looks are the same!”
Indeed.
Airi was always wary of Shafney, treating her like a tiger.
No wonder Shafney found it amusing.
But Shien’s score in her heart unconsciously increased by two points, becoming ninety-two.
This man was truly interesting, just like little Airi.
