Tree Spirit cannot leave the range of the Barbarian Cave, and Kanter hasn’t entered the Wilderness of Dreams, so the conclusion is simple: Kanter is currently in the Barbarian Cave and agreed to Nis’s invitation through Tree Spirit’s communication.
Having solved this mystery, Angel couldn’t help but let his mind wander.
Why would Kanter agree to Nis’s invitation? As the head of the House of Lilith, Kanter’s strength and position need no mention. It must not have been easy for Nis to invite him to escort. Could it be that Nis offered an irresistible cost?
