c1404: Red Garment Fierce Spirit (2)

There was only one option left.

Isabella glanced down at Angel, or to be precise, at the Samsara Overture in Angel’s hands… To find out what happened, she’d have to seek answers through the Samsara Overture.

She needed to capture Mollya and use the Samsara Overture to pull her back from the Abyss of Corruption to discover what happened a thousand years ago.

With this in mind, Isabella’s expression gradually changed, focusing all her energy on Mollya.

Capturing Mollya was Isabella’s sole thought at the moment.

However, Isabella hadn’t forgotten about Angel; she knew that the Origin of Chaos had sent Mollya likely to distract her while they targeted Angel. Thus, she had to protect Angel, otherwise, from where would she borrow the Samsara Overture?

From within Isabella’s body, a faint silhouette emerged, radiating a golden halo.

The halo, vein-like, lasted for several minutes, before finally fading away to reveal her true face.

It still bore Isabella’s appearance, but this Isabella’s outline appeared illusory, looking like a phantasm.

In fact, this was Isabella’s soul avatar, containing half of the Mysterious Spirit she had once intercepted from Angel, and its strength was even greater than her present self.

Isabella sent her soul avatar to protect Angel, while she concentrated all her attention on Mollya.

Meanwhile, Mollya finally opened her eyes, which held no whites or pupils, only a pitch-black void, deep as darkness itself, a vortex that could swallow everything.

Mollya’s lips curled into a twisted smile as a sinister thought swiftly spread through her.

A dark fire began to burn slowly within her.

As the dark fire spread, Isabella finally moved…

In life, Mollya’s strength had actually been inferior to Isabella’s, and even less so to Isabella’s (Isabella variant). After her death, her strength had greatly declined, no match for Isabella.

But Isabella’s goal was not to destroy Mollya but to capture her. This was more difficult than to utterly annihilate her.

For the moment, Isabella had not found the most effective approach.

While Isabella struggled with Mollya, a terrifying boom suddenly came from a distant place.

Isabella’s soul avatar looked back and saw a piercing white light suddenly appear on the outskirts of the Black Forest, along with tremors shaking the earth and a deafening explosion, this white light reached up to the heavens.

When the white light collided with dark clouds, it burst forth.

The white light covered the whole sky, and everyone, at this moment, was enveloped by white, seeing nothing but a vast expanse of brightness…

Isabella froze for a moment; that direction was where Isabella (Isabella variant) and Kimberly had led the mountain giant away. So, had this huge explosion, which even illuminated the entire Black Castle area, been the giant’s self-destruction?

What could be the condition of Isabella (Isabella variant) and Kimberly after this self-destruction?

While thinking this, Isabella suddenly realized something.

With such a significant vibration, everyone was distracted by the shock; if she had to choose a time to act, now was undoubtedly the best.

Perhaps, the Origin of Chaos would choose this moment to make a move on Angel.

With that thought, Isabella quickly turned her gaze back to the ground; she had only been distracted for two seconds, everything should be fine… right?

However, when Isabella looked down, her pupils narrowed, and she stood frozen on the spot.
