Chimera hesitated for a moment, looked at Angel still hanging in the distance, and then at the direction where Lobal disappeared.
"I’m a bit worried about Lobal, why don’t we go over there and check?" Chimera suggested.
Kraken made a long "Eh—" sound, then pointed with one of its thick tentacles under the air sac, towards Angel in the distance.
The meaning was clear, if they checked on Lobal, what would become of Angel running ahead?
Chimera was somewhat suspicious that the running Angel might be fake; otherwise, why didn’t it feel the wind flow? However, this was just suspicion and not certainty. A bizarre creature devoid of wind elements running faster than a wind-element creature was unusual in itself, so a bit more strangeness seemed plausible.
If Angel were real and Lobal encountered a formidable enemy, going to support Lobal would result in being attacked from both sides.
Chimera was hesitant at this point.
But recalling Lobal’s earlier angry roar and the fact that it initiated the Wind Tail Cannon mode worried Chimera.
"How about this, Kraken, you continue chasing that humanoid creature, while I go check on Lobal." Chimera was concerned that their battle would definitely be detected by Wind Island’s defenders. If that group from Wind Island tried any tricks during their fight, it would be troublesome.

However, Angel used Lobal’s illusion to simulate a battle state not to separate them, but because Chimera was suspicious of the illusion Angel.
To prevent Chimera from probing the illusion Angel any further, Angel decided to create a new disturbance to divert their attention.
This led to the scene where Lobal’s illusion activated the wind pillar mode and disappeared alone.
Angel hadn’t anticipated that Chimera, driven by its suspicions of the illusion Angel and the worry about unseen circumstances, would concoct in its mind the possibility of Wind Island’s ambushers, leading it to fret over both Lobal’s difficulties and the illusion Angel here, prompting it to propose splitting up with Kraken.
This proposal surprised even Angel.
His intention was indeed to divide the three Wind Generals and defeat them one by one.
But he hadn’t yet employed his method, and Chimera had already taken the initiative to separate, saving Angel a step.
Since the other two Wind Generals, apart from the Tri-headed Lionhound, were also separated, Angel now had to consider whom to deal with first.
The Wind General pursuing the Tri-headed Lionhound’s illusion was also a three-headed creature. This giant squid seemed a bit sluggish, but its exhibited strength was incredibly daunting. Its movement involved releasing vast quantities of air rings from the head’s air sac. These air rings stretched for kilometers when released, creating a vacuum upon the area they touched.
In other words, the giant squid unleashed an area of thorough destruction just through unconscious motion and broad area pulse attack capabilities.
One can imagine, if it intentionally released the air rings, the destruction would likely be even greater.
Angel thought for a moment and decided to deal with the three-headed creature first. This giant squid would be dealt with last, not only because of its power but mainly because Angel suspected it had a Talent for massive clearing areas. If dealt with prematurely, its destruction could unravel the Illusion Nodes, potentially releasing the wind creatures trapped in the Illusionary Realm.
Therefore, Angel decided to let the illusion lead it further away while he resolved the three-headed creature on this side first.
After making his decision, Angel didn’t hesitate and vanished from the Mist with a light flash of his figure.
On the other side, Chimera was still pursuing the direction where Lobal had gone.
After about two or three minutes of pursuit, as Chimera gazed at the unyielding white mist ahead, a vague unease grew in its heart.
The main head of Lobal, though somewhat foolish, had intelligent auxiliary and tail heads, especially the tail head, which was said to have The Sage’s demeanor even by His Highness Hurricane. In such circumstances, would Lobal be provoked so easily as to release the Wind Tail Cannon?
