The initial inspiration for writing wuxia came after watching the film The White-Haired Witch (Bai Fa Mo Nu Chuan). The image of the lone, white-haired woman standing atop a peak, so proud yet so lonely, left a lasting impression on my young mind. It was a feeling that lingered, so I picked up my pen.
